Good game Habs. Ugly 2nd period by the VGK with only 2 shots on net but at least one of them went in 😁 That Hill blooper totally brought back that Fleury nightmare vibe from game 3 of the series with the Habs a few years ago 😆 That OT was really fun to watch. Wish it was 10 minutes instead of 5

Habs out shot VGK, won a majority of the board battles, their forecheck was strong.. they definitely gave the champs a run for their money. That being said, VGK is excellent at closing out games but at the same time give their opponent too many opportunities to tie the game at the end of the third. VGK fan here.. and I must say Habs haven’t looked this good in awhile. Both goalies kept their teams in this game for OT.

I edited my other comment, because I was still watching before i made that comment. It has to do with Scrip Sports (Vegas' feed) format. It is actually a best of 3, so it should only really show two rows of 3 boxes, but Scrip sports shows two rows of 5 for some reason. After both Monahan and Eichel missed (in other words tied after the 3rd frame), it becomes single elimination. Both teams still shoot. If only one team scores, it's the game winner. Theodore has the backhander, Anderson hits the crossbar.

No one EVER were hurt by it but there have been many who lost confidence and never recovered when thrown to the fire. I don't see anything the kid contributes and he stumbles with the puck. It's a clear sign he is very unsure. The Habs jade a huge mistake with Slafv last year. First, they quietly set unreal expectations and the media pounced and went overboard. Then they kept with the big club all year. They are repeating the mistake again. Loosing confidence can be quick, but gaining it back takes time. Sometimes it never returns.
