I went to this game for my first game at UBS Arena OMG The amount of emotions that I went through at this game is nothing like any other sporting event that i've ever been to. The shoot out was about as emotional as you can get. What a Win.

The Islanders won 19 consecutive playoff series from 1980 to 1984. Nobody will ever eclipse that record. The Lightning won 11 consecutive series from 2020 to 2022 and the Penguins won 9 in a row from 2016 to 2018.

Alright, it was not perfect hockey and we dropped a point but that was way better than the embarrassing display again the Kings. Good game to the Islanders, I hope Duclair's injury isn't too bad.
@lauigСағат бұрын
The same is happening with the Rocket. More lines starting to click, with still the odd bumps & mistakes that are bound to happen or the couple off shifts or period here and there (like Mesar & Davidson in the first period of that second game against Syracuse) but you see almost all of these quirks not lingering the whole game anymore, we can even see most of it being corrected, eased out if not completely turned around (same exemple, superb 2nd & 3rd for Filip, Jared & Owen). Most importantly it's all done together in a much more cohesive effort. Hope they keep it rolling for a good stretch.

For a islander's game at home, it was actually incredible the amount of montreal fans who went to this game they had a whole section behind one of the goal tenders. I went to this game.

Habs Fans don't think the team have figured out yet how to capitalize on what Hutson is doing out there. He should be amongst the NHL leaders in points by defenseman in the league. Also they need better finishers, the only one is Caufield so far. Laine would've helped if he wasn't injured right now.

For someone who scored 2 goals tonight, I'm gonna be a bit critical. Twice I feel that Caulfield choked away from his strengths. His Ace-In-The-Hole. His One-timer from anywhere and on loose pucks. The first time he had a open net if he would've one-timed it. And on his breakaway he tries to deke when he probably has a 90% better chance when he tries to just snipe it. Suzuki is also not taking advantage of his above average shooting accuracy at all this year! Although he is a fantastic stick handler and can deke out any goalie when he confident, he's just not feeling it it seems and he's not trusting his shooting ability to get him out of his goal slump. He's a 33 goal scorer. The guy needs to get it going. Slav isn't shooting either. It's pretty apparent every game when they always get out shot 2 to 1. Same story as last year. It kind of hurts when the defense is injured and still green, and your new offensive weapon is hurt. Although I doubt Laine would do miracles with this current lineup. The second line is not what we hoped it would be by a long shot. Yet.
@kylejoly5774 сағат бұрын
Yes they need to stop going for the 'perfect pass' and just throw more rubber at the net!
@emilelussier272744 минут бұрын
i 100% agree with you, but these guys are professionals, with a coach with a unique skillset, they’re gonna figure it out soon. we sometimes get slumps in the middle of the season, now it’s just at the beginning. Believe me when i say it’s not gonna be like that all year. Caufield will keep on scoring and when the other two on line 1 wake up (they will), Dach’s gonna get his groove back eventually, we’ll be adding Patrick Laine , Josh Roy, Logan Mailloux (looks amazing) , i’m pretty sure things will be figured out very very soon

Its so obvious the team has zero confidence in Primeau. That's why they are going down too soon, telegraphing defensive moves and not taking control and attacking from the forward lines.
@timkitchen6925 сағат бұрын
For the love of all that his hockey, please Montreal wake up and move on from Primeau. There is no chance they can challenge for a playoff spot this season or next if you are nearly guaranteed to lose most of all games your backup is in. The first and 3rd goals tonight have no business going in. Send him anywhere for anything, just move on.

The Canadian’s goalkeeper’s are simply not talented enough . They may have 3-4 good to average games out of every 10 games & that’s it . They have to be traded! Canadian’s need a top 5 goal tender period ! & a good back up as well ! If not then no playoffs again !

Very soft 3rd goal let in by Varlomov. He redeemed himself and picked up his teammates in the SO. I hate SO's but worked in their favor today. We'll never have to see a bs SO again if the league makes OT 10min. Islanders need to stop blowing leads and have to finish more often. This game should've been won comfortably.

Believe on Him, ask for forgiveness of sins, turn from them and talk to Him everyday. Read the Bible, apply it to your life. God loves you, He sent Jesus to die for the world. He's worth it.

Believing and preaching has never changed anything on the ground. Ask the hurricane victims in Milton or the hockey players. There's an atheist candidate in the U.S. presidential election, and he has a good chance of winning!
@BpLavoie6 сағат бұрын
Mailloux absolutely victimized Varlamov. On pure instinct, he always takes what he wants. Victim after victim, he just slides it in, no matter how many times they try to deny him. Who needs consent when you handle your stick like Logan!? What a player! No does NOT mean no to him! Of course he used the backhand to keep Varlamov in line in the SO. Interesting that he chose to pull out during the shootout and shoot his load wide.
