Oh, I get it! An "empty net" is not a sign the losing team is forfeiting the game. It's like Earl's Halfway Deal in Skatoony: Earl will offer the contestant a certain number of points boosing that contestants total correct point score by a certain amount. But if the contestant accepts the point offer, then Earl must subtract a certain amount of time from the timer for that number of extra points granted. So here in Hockey, if you're within 3 points of the leading team, you can add an extra skater (center, offense, or defense man) - taking your total number of players up to 6 skaters. But if you accept this deal, then you must withdraw your main defender, the goalie, leaving your net open for the opposing team to score from anywhere on the ice.

Give it time before rushing to the video if you want 1080P - it takes KZbin a bit of time to process all the resolutions and the higher ones, like 1080p, take the longest. Usually the first resolution available is 360p, then the others all follow after. Don't blame Sportsnet for something that's completely out of their control. I came 5 or so hours AFTER the upload and 1080p was there. As for Sportsnet choosing to omit the highlights of the dirty Stutzle hit from behind on Hoglander, or the BS call on Hughes that ejected the best d-man in the NHL from the game and probably the next game too is entirely their CHOICE to misrepresent the game.

I think you should be happy they won with all the bullshit they had to put up with in this game. From the start no Thatcher Demko, no JT Miller, no Brock Boesser, and after a bullshit match penalty call after a Sen hit Hoglander from behind with no call on Quinn Hughes, no Captain Quinn. They were down 4/5 of their top stars and still won-- ON THE ROAD!

Feel bad for the Sens, thought they'd be better this year

Some pretty selective video shown here SN. Not show the Hughes 5 min and game hit nor the huge miss call Struzle on Holglander that should have been a five and game by same definition . Upchuck running around trying to kill everyone, starts a fight and doesn’t get instigator. How about the almost two minutes puck control by Canucks to kill time on delayed penalty? Ridiculous homer reffing, glad the Canucks pulled out the win and will cheer to see the Sens lose amap

For Ottawa, it’s too little too late.

We continue to do it with a backup goaltender.

Well, well, well, The Road Warriors unleashed The Doomsday Device on the Ottawa Senators! Missing JT Miller, missing Thatcher Demko, missing Brock Boesser, but still coming up with a way to hold on and win it on the road in spite of everything.
