Solid road effort by the Canucks. They deserved two points. They took over the third and also dominated overtime. How Sutherland still has a job in this league baffles me. Such a trip by Kaprizov. Not to mention Sherwood being held for like 20 seconds by the bench not allowing him to change and an array of other missed calls and yes Vancouver got away with some as well. @conorcahill542212 сағат бұрын
I saw nothing lucky about our performance. We played Minnesota at exactly the game needed. The fact we ended up 32-28 ahead in shots on goal makes that point strong. Add to that, WE were the ones that could have ended it in OT if Boeser's shot was just to the left of the post. If anything, Wild got lucky in that regard.

@@conorcahill5422 and I would disagree, possession was 56 to 44 for the wild. Canucks have an 84% win rate when we hold more possession. I thought the multiple giveaways was a true indication that the Canucks did not play the game they wanted. Tochen said the one thing he wants the team to work on is starting out strong. The team was heavily dominated in the first despite scoring on a good bounce. Either way, my point stands that IF the Canucks weren’t at their full strength this game and could push such a powerhouse team to OT then I feel good going back home
@conorcahill542212 сағат бұрын
@@tobiasketteringham7201In fairness, you gave them little credit because you thought they were lucky. I mean, most knew Wild would dominate the first period, but eventually, Canucks woke up and started playing, and they shaded the other 2x periods. No luck tonight, my friend. Wild had 3 penalties, Canucks had 1. There could have been at least 5 called on both teams, which means the Canucks were favored in terms of officiating. Boeser missed the OT game winner, Kaprizov didn't. Yet Canucks fans will only blame the refs for the loss. Wild are the better team. Better defense, better goaltending, better superstars. Also, Wild won this game without Zuccarello and Brodin. So Canucks can't blame injuries for the loss.
