Gotta Love Zetterlund, what a player he's becoming. Kings looked like they thought they just had to show up for an easy 2 points. Like the way Sharks stayed focused. Last year they would've collapsed after Kings tied it 2-2.

Mario is a legit defenseman might not get a lot of points but dude was a top 2 pairing during the last few Sharks playoff runs when they actually had talent on the Blue Line. So he's a good legit defender who was usually paired with Burns to help bail him out whenever he made a risky play.

@@wisewolftony Ferraro never played in the playoffs. He paired with Burns in 2020. Just yapping for the sake of yapping cuz other than locker room presence the dude is a terrible defenseman.

@@pootatlulu4164 Yea I'm not sure wtf wisewolftony is talking about with Ferraro in the playoffs, never happened, but he's definitely not a bad defenseman at all. He joined the team on the first year of the dark age and was made to punch above his level, on any decent team he'd be a really good 3rd pairing or even a good stay-at-home on the 2nd.

Solid game overall. Vanacek was good. Walman played well and scored what I believe was the first goal of the season by a sharks defenseman. Wennberg had a good game. That shot by Zetterlund was a nice shot. Toffoli also scored a nice goal. We‘ll see where this goes

Zetterlund really is the new Timo. It is crazy to trade a legend like Timo and instantly get another back. Musty and Mukhamadullin are just added bonus. This was by far one of griers best moves. All 3 combined are cheaper than Timo.

@@Dirtytanker It was the expiring contract that was the real reason he was shipped out why give a guy a massive contract when your team is bad and rebuilding. Although they then gave Hertl a massive deal but that was the last GM regime who made that dumb choice and at least they were able to ship him off which later turned into getting a top goalie prospect.
