Bobby McMann has been so impressive. To watch him go from a AHL player, to now a top 9 forward on the Leafs is incredible. He has been such a solid Two-Way player for the leafs, and he’s the type of player they truly needed.

Definitely stepped it up lately along with Bertuzzi amongst quite a few others. It's becoming infectious and I haven't seen this in years for the Leafs. It really reminds of the Leafs of the 70's when even the defencemen were a force to be reckoned with(Salming & Turnbull). I hope they can ride this train a lot longer!

His speed upon such heavy body is what really stands out to me. He always surprises me getting from point A to point B on plays I gave up on in my head. He’s like a truck just going wherever he wants to go. Have to give respect to the fact that he brings 100% every game too

I fully agree...being Canadian I do like Canadian teams but when the Leafs are matched with Washington I prefer Ovechkin any day of the week. And as I watch him, I can still see him for the Russian junior team (under 20s) playing Canada. When Canada targeted him and put him out of the game with a shoulder injury. Since then I always keep an eye out for him and his skills level...amazing player and also a Good Human!

Fun fact: as a kid, Auston Matthews was in the arena as a spectator in Phoenix when Ovi scored The Goal. Imagine: a young Auston looking on, Ovi scoring the goal, and an older Wayne Gretzky as the opposing coach. Ovi’s goal was clearly a voodoo ritual that required the other two to be there to transfer his dark goal-making powers to Auston. That’s why we speak of it in hushed tones today.

They need to change the offside challenge rule, to where the person being offside needs to actually impact the play and be a part of the goal. If it’s more than 20 seconds after the offside and the offside isn’t more than a foot offside, it should just count. This isn’t in the spirit of the rule at all.

Ultimately, i think they don't want to just draw an arbitrary line, they want it to be as black and white as possible. Two options, you either allow challenges, with limits... or you just let the refs call it and deal with sometimes not getting it right. Precision or Tradition

In most of the cases, it's just ridiculous. The play has been going on for minutes and if it ends up in goal, it will be checked and in many cases it has been some millimetres offside. Not good. The best way to deal with this would be ruling that if the puck has been in defensive team's possession after offside, it shouldnt be ruled offside anymore. Simple and honoring the spirit of the game.

I'm in favor of just abandoning the offside challenge all together. Too many good goals getting called back because of 2cm in the blink of an eye that doesn't even factor in to the goal. If the linesman can't see it in real time, it's good enough for me.
