I can't believe this leafs team.. what an amazing team they have become. I lived in Toronto for almost 30 years and remember the days of Courtnall, Iafrate, Salming, Clarke, Domi, and the rest of them... The struggle they went through during those days was heartbreaking, I moved to the U.K. 12 years ago and am so happy to see them doing so good.

Its time to stop making excuses for Igor. Something isn't right. Idk if its an injury or something at home, but he is far from the top of his game. It doesn't help that the defense collapses around him twice as much as they do with Quick. He's still gotta come up with the big saves. If he keeps playing like this his GAA is gonna be 4-5. Whatever is going on with him needs to be figured out quickly if we're gonna have any chance of winning the cup this year. It’s because the penalty itself was a soft call in the first place… Leafs player trips himself on the turned around Rangers player and it’s just another example of Rangers being screwed over by the refs. It’s just annoying when Sebastian Aho can go knee on knee with Adam Fox leaving him out for a month but the Rangers consistently get these ghost penalty calls.

Auston Matthews is incredible ! For me, he is better team player than McDavid and I'm pretty sure he will beat that Gretzky's record as well. You have to be that good to score 4 goals in the first NHL game ever!!

I believe he's the better overall player then McDavid but definitely not the better scorer. As a Leafs fan, I like Matthews but I also think he's going to be a big reason the Leafs won't go far and hasn't till now.

American broadcasts are weird. The announcers have no standards for professionalism. Listen to the call on the last Matthews goal, oh wait, there was none. If you weren't watching the screen, you wouldn't have known he scored for like 15-20 seconds. They wouldn't put up with that on a Canadian broadcast. I don't think the networks take Hockey very seriously in the US.
