Pressure to maintain for long periods of time wasn't there, still isn't. Terrible passing, Gallagher was on his A Game tonight, Slafkovsky still needs to work on finishing, panic in the D Zone when under pressure, Evans got a goal tonight, not bad from a back to back. Pittsburgh on Wednesday.

Slaf, the 1st overall pick in 2022, touched the puck..what...5 times. Did he carry the puck 10feet? Did he DEFEND??? He finished AGAIN Slaf with no goals, no assists and still stuck on 2g and 5a assists after their 28th game! He was on the ice for both goals scored against. Yet, there are those on KZbin saying there are Teams "Terrified" of him? Fans are saying he's a BEAST! He just a huge kid yet little Galagher at the tail end of his career, has far more passion and giddyup than the 6-3, 230lb Slafkovsky! Slaf's effort on the 2nd and winning goal was/should be UNACCEPTABLE! I'd to hear Kent or Marty explain to us what exactly, Slafkovsky's developing? The "Brain Trust" are doing this kid a disservice. He should be somewhere else where he will want to touch, carry and make plays with the puck. He does NOTHING out there and looks...cautious. When both the Parent and Baby Habs are awful, it speaks to the health of the Organization. Should Laval be this bad and what's the REAL story on Arber??!! If HE was sent down to work on his game...why the hell hasn't Slafkovsky????!!!! He's averaging .4pts and 1/4 of a "-" every game...for those who may be confused...this is nothing to be ex item about...it SHOULD be a major concern. IF they don't make you question his "development", watch thus game again and pay attention to the next ones going forward. Count the touches, how long the puck's on his stick, how far he carry's it, the shots and are they just put backs. Count the hits...real hits...take aways. If he is playing with the teams best, why can't he do better? In the last 8 games he has 1pt and minus six.

Ylonen is a good player...i'd like to see him get a bit of time with Suzuki, Slafs is ok on the 3rd line...or 2nd? Caufield (underwhelming at 7.8 millions for 8 years) is just not burying his chances...often looks, small! Might be time to bring Monahan on the 1st line! Monahan-Suzuki-Ylonen...i want to see that! Missing Dach and Newhook...Evans is a 3rd line center...not really a 2nd...even if he scored tonight! Feel bad for Allen in the current context...he needed a shutout to win tonight!

When Montreal decided to move their hockey games from the site of the Montreal Forum ( a hockey holy site ) they had never won another cup and bad luck seemed to follow them there after. You may snicker at this but I believe Howie Morenz may have had his body viewed at the Forum after he died so prematurely. The ghosts of the old Forum won't let any owner forget that. In 1968 the owners renewed the Forum they didn't move the arena. In Canada hockey is a religion and in Quebec even more so. I think the moral is, don't fix what ain't broke especially if so many have worshipped at the place.

No matter which team you were cheering for this was an extremely poorly officiated game! For the players it is very difficult to play 100% because of the refs like this! They never know what the refs are going to call, right or wrong! For the fans it is very frustrating to watch! These refs called penalties, on both sides, when there was no infraction done, and then allowed several obvious penalties to go uncalled a key moments of the game! Unfortunately, this is happening far too often in far too many games across the league! Why watch then? Why complain? Because I grew up loving this sport and it is sad to watch the officiating ruin the sport! If we as fans don't say anything, it will just get worse! my opinion 🦂

play nice! over 60mins if ur team aint good enough their not good enough. hard for bad refs to distort the score for entire game! habs outworked & outplayed & trying really hard for the last 10mins isn't gonna win many nhl games i'm afraid. could hear the home fans chuntering from early on. if the habs lose with "god forbid" good refs on the ice do we then blame the zamboni driver? or do we realise hey my team aren't any great shakes?

But when bad/missed calls directly affects the score, something has to be done. 1st Period - 9:05, interferance call on Ghallager who wasn't anywhere near the goalie and never touched him 2nd Period - 19:26, missed holding call on a semi-breakaway that could've led to a good chance. And the entire game was littered with bad/missed calls. And it's the same in every game. Refs are bad and getting worst every year.
