That Ron Francis goal in 1992 STILL haunts me to this day. Rangers up 2-1 in the series, and had a 2 goal lead AND a 5 minute major power play with 15 minutes left in the game. Figured they'd come out of that with AT LEAST a 3 goal lead with 10 minutes to play. Basically, already celebrating a 3-1 lead in the series. And they not only get stopped in the entire 5 minute power play, but Richter gives up that horrendous goal right after. so instead of a 3 goal lead with 10 to play, it was a 1 goal lead...then a tie game just a minute and 15 seconds later. Then an overtime loss. Then a lost series. So much for the President's trophy that year!

I remember being a little kid watching patrick lalime let in those goals vs toronto in game 7, back when the battle of Ontario was at its peak. I remember crying as my cousins from Toronto called me to rub it in my face, I went up to my room and ripped up my Patrick Lalime autographed poster I had from meeting him through the Timbits hockey program. The next day the newspaper had an image with one of the goals replacing the puck with a beach ball and showed that Toronto would have still scored. I'm 29 today and will still never forgive that dingus for that game 7 performance.

As a goalie I can tell you that like sometimes a baseball fielder can lose a ball in the sun, a goalie can sometimes lose the puck in a dark background of the crowd.

I remember being at the Avs game when that OT goal happened. There was a San Jose fan right next to us and seeing him pout after that went in made my night!

I been a goalie for 16 years. Those slap shots from centre ice are tricky. When they are low they skip off the ice and when In the air they move up and down quickly. You have to get your whole body into the front of the puck instead of unsung your glove or blocker.

What about Steve Yzerman’s center ice goal from Wayne Gretzky?

2:43 is pure nightmare fuel for goalies, I have no clue how that made it through, looks like a glitch in the matrix

4:22 Still one of the wildest goals EVER. That goal also gave Anaheim new life in the series; they were down 2-0 (this was Game 3), and it ended up going to Game 7 (which New Jersey won). Without this goal, New Jersey probably wins the series in five, but where’s the fun in that? 😂

8:44 I was there for that one! Thought for sure they'd lose it after taking the double minor, but in less than a second Quick coughed it up and Steen buried it. Enterprise Center went effing nuts (or was it Savvis Center at that point?).

Anyone who played pond hockey as kid knows the weird things a puck can do - skip, tumble, ricochet in odd ways. Always expect that from a puck.
