Fleury was NOT cheating by pushing snow in front of the goal. He's well-known as a prankster...you could see him giggling when the ref called him out on it. He's a character.

Using his skate as a weapon is being a bit of an overdramatic statement. From the description it sounds like he hits the player with his skate when in fact he stands on the stick to break it. Hardly dangerous play.

If the knob is a darker color it could be mistaken for the puck, making knob tape strictly white is just to be safe ig

It affects the puck being able to go underneath the end of the stick, when a goalies stick is down. If the tape is thin enough, that means there's less space beteween the end portion and the ice, and the puck cant get through, so in essence the effective part of your stick is increased!

If the stick tape used to make the knob is black and thick as a puck it will be mistaken for a puck so it can throw opponents and refs off.

LTIR isnt cheating. Its a loophole. Also years ago Tampa wanted to change that but the rest of the league said no so you can blame them for Tampas LTIR cups.

On the Spezza stick violation, the Habs called for stick measurement of Marty McSorley's stick in the 1993 SCF. They went on to win the game, the series, and The Cup. They have not won once since and may never win another again because such moves are amateur and offensive to the hockey gods. If illegal sticks like Spezza's are such a big deal, maybe Coach Wilson should have been fined for knowing all season that it was illegal and not reporting it sooner. 😉 Brad Marchand aka Rat Turd is a BOS.

Frank Seravalli is a quack who has hated the Golden Knights ever sense the Robin Lehner incident. The league dose its due diligence when it comes to LTIR also Saying Vegas cheated when the team that actually played for the cup were below the cap. This argument is ridiculous also blame Tampa for doing it first. Truthfully all teams could have done it Stone had back surgery that is a fact but because they timed it just right is why people are complaining.

Perhaps if a team has any player(s) on the LTIR that would put them over the cap, and they wish to activate that player in the playoffs, they need to declare it before the start of the playoffs and have conditions to meet. So certain players on the regular season rooster cannot play in the playoffs or at least after the player comes off the LTIR Or just apply the salary cap the same in the playoffs as in the regular season That way not controversy or whatever

Why must green or blue color tape matter for goalies? I get why the rule exists. Because black tape would constantly get confused for the puck. BUT GREEN PUCKS AND BLUE PUCKS DO NOT EXIST, SO WHY ARE THEY INELIGIBLE FOR GOALIES

If you're going to use the rule book, use the rules that were in place at the time of the call. Can't say should have been a penalty shot 8fit wasn't I the rule book at that time. Rules are constantly evolving. Can't only use the 2023-2024, rulebook for things that happened 20 years ago...

restricting goalies options for tape is kinda bullshit, thankfully only the nhl is upity enough to enforce it, i can understand if they say just not solid black because so many goalies use knobs the size of a puck, but to not let khudobin use green or me use red is bullshit
