This is not "bogus" news....if you listened to what I said info posted by Kevin Weekes and a few other reporters seemed to indicate something was up with Pitt and the Avs weren't done dealing. I even said in the video that this is unlikely to happen but this is info coming from legit sources so why is it "bogus" news to talk about it?

The Canucks are dealing from a position of weakness here. Pettersson has been mediocre for nearly a calendar year. Miller has been horribly inconsistent and comes with the reputation of not getting along with teammates. They’d be selling low on either right now. This year might just be another wash for them while they waste a year of Quinn Hughes’ prime.

If they were selling high, then they wouldn't be selling. The truth is the Canucks could very well be without Miller, Pettersson and Boeser for next season. It's looking as if last season was the abnormal one, and a losing group was actually the norm. It's going to be a very different team soon, regardless of the Miller-Pettersson beef story that just seems contrived.

Just the other teams that are interested in miller.....are throwing lowball offers at the canucks. Its cause miller has a FULL nmc and thats what happens when you give a player a contract like that.

Keep in mind the hawks got THEIR 3rd round pick back, which is basically guaranteed to be in the top 4 of the 3rd, whereas if they took Carolina’s it would be at the end of the 3rd, could help in the long run with a trade. Semantics? Maybe but they gain like $2m in cap space (figuring in the disparity of Hall and Rantanen’s contracts.

@@MikeyWo-x9b lol. Thing is. This is Colorado’s cup window. After Mack turns 30 the odds of them winning cups goes way down. And then as Makar ages it gets worse as well. Crosby would be a great add for leadership. Still ppg player. Someone there to make Mack play better. I doubt that it’s happening. But I had 100% faith there was no way Rantanen was leaving the Avs. And the Avs only got the cup because of the rebuild that started with Mack and then Mikko being drafted. Then Makar. Those were all drafts because of how bad the avalanche had gotten. So if they win some cups, then have to rebuild, so be it. Better than holding on to the young talent and not winning a cup for another 10-15 years. If not more. It took 20 for there 2021 cup because they had kept a mediocre and aging team together until the draft of 2013 and beyond.

So everyone is saying that the Blackhawks involvement in the Rantanen trade was a loss for them, but I remember at the beginning of the season there was talk about Kirill Kaprizov wanting to play with Connor Bedard and with his contract coming to an end next season and I'm wondering if the Blackhawk are trying to clear cap space for him wat are you thoughts?
