This video always manages to bring a tear to my eye. Wendel would score timely goals, and in bunches. He would elevate the play of his team mates, bring the fans to their feet, and BOY, could he scrap! He was a true brawler. He will always be my favourite Toronto Maple Leaf. The fact that he no longer plays saddens me greatly, but videos like this bring back some of that excitement. Thanks for all the really great memories. Big luv, Captain Crunch!

I will never forget when I was entering my teens, I got "The Best Hockey Fights of 80s" on VHS tape. They would feature Kocur, Dave Brown, Probert, Nilan, etc. and they must have done a 15 minute feature of Wendell Clark's fights. Still stuck in my brain to this day. One of my very favorite hockey players of all time. A true swiss army knife who could do it all! Hes what i think a hockey player should be!

I watch this video quite frequently. Tear to the eye indeed. Greatest leaf of all time. Love knuckles but couldn't believe that they didn't mention Wendal in gladiator movie. Wendal is and always has been an inspirational figure in my life. Score goals beat the s $@t outta people way bigger than him, an all round star. And just an all round class act. Thanks for putting this video up I hope it never goes away. Ask yourself this question: What would Wendal do?

It is not the size of the man in the fight, it is the size of the fight in the man. I think this quote best exemplifies what Wendel Clark was and what the Toronto Maple Leafs currently lack. When was the last time you saw a member of the team weep at being traded? For the Leafs to ever be successful again, they need a player in the mold of Wendel Clark or Doug Gilmour. Someone who will leave everything on the ice. Marty Mcsorley - 6Ft1, 235 lbs Bob Probert - 6ft3, 225 lbs WENDEL CLARK - 5ft11, 195 lbs

Can you imagine this beauty let lose in today's NHL? Honestly did anyone in the day actually want to fight him? You see guys try and jump him and get 4-5 quick shots in while he's setting up then the jackhammers would start to fly. He threw so many short quick punches but for effs sake what is the PSI of this guys punches??? His jabs hit guys like full on hay makers. Laws, yes! M-O-O-N spells Wendel!

Everyone else tried to defend against Probert when the were unlucky enough to have to fight him. Wendel jumped at him and threw absolute bombs that knocked people out. No shit Kocur the knock out king is his effing cousin. Hard ass Prairie boys that dont eff around. "I'd say he lost the decision to the farmer from Saskatchewan". Everyone did. It's fucking Wendel.

Honestly...fighting Wendel Clark made no sense at all. Anyone who made McSorley and Probert nervous is just insane. He is 5'11" and 200lbs. If he was in the league today he would have destroyed everyone. No one fights the way he did. They wouldn't even know what to do. You look at the stories of Kocur and Twist and all the boys who were Blades at that time or Saskatchewan boys and Wendel was their Alpha. Any era, any tough guy you couldn't fuck with Wendel. It's just how it is, Its Wendel.
