@@williamou417i don't think you realize that her class was essentially mostly used with Rather fouled air horns as I found out their crews typically use those as apparently Chinese weather does have random effects on steam whistles. Their stock steam whistles weren't exactly loud. Enough to be heard as I know that firsthand when i train spotted QJs back in 2004 on their final years in jingpeng pass.

Weird to think this loco was less than a decade old. It was built in China in 1989, but looks just like something out of the 1920s.
