The National Health Singers are a choir comprised of doctors, nurses, other healthcare workers and NHS patients from all over the UK. We were founded 3 years ago to unite staff and public in support of the NHS through a love of original, meaningful music. We sing to boost morale, to raise awareness of a service with difficulties and, ultimately, to celebrate our NHS.
‘Won’t Let Go’ was created with Mark De-Lisser (whose credits include ITV’s ‘The Voice’, the BBC’s ‘Pitch Battle’ and ‘The Choir’, and the lauded arrangement of ‘Stand By Me’ at the Royal Wedding), songwriter Clare Dove and producer Samuel Cramer. The music video was created by William Walsh. Cover artwork by Dr Victoria Watson.
The NHS is this country’s greatest asset, the national treasure. We want people singing from the rooftops that we, as a nation, are holding on to the NHS and we won’t let go.

I like the fact they have done this song, its very catchy and the blue heart touched my heart. I really hope we keep our NHS, but it needs vital funds to keep it running at its best, we all have been looked after by great doctors and nurses, my GP of 22 years just retired and i owe that guy my life, he was a brilliant GP and is greatly missed. I wouldn't have my diagnosis of Fibromyalgia without him. He believed in me and fought for what was a long drawn out diagnosis as it took 5 yrs to get it. I also have osteoarthritis in my spine and he helped me so much with pain meds & coming out at home to see me and check on me. I spent a day in endoscopy day ward as i was having a spinal procedure and it had 2 lovely nurses, after we all saw the surgeon before we were due down, they went round all of us with a pen & paper to see what cuppa's we wanted and afterwards made tea/coffee and toast for everyone to the very last and even did 2 lots if we wanted it. Those 2 lovely nurses were rushed off their feet as it was a Saturday. And they were there when any problems there were.

But also there have been disappointments a lot, so I've seen brilliant & not so good. One thing that really needs more money to do the best they can is Mental Health, as depression and anxiety is rising all the time and any other mental health problems, such very long waiting lists which can be crucial for someone who cannot cope. THIS government is standing by and doing nothing, you see apologies from Hunt but its not enough !!!! Waiting lists as we know are getting worse with people getting treated in corridors and even in ambulance in car parks !!! I will buy this single because we need to fight for our NHS !!!+
