I had an assessment for a new manual wheelchair and the NHS want to take away my power chair which I have had for 10 years! I cannot walk or stand at all and have completed muscle wasting in my lower limbs.

If the assessor had to spend a day in a manual chair they would never give anyone a manual.

Many people live good lives in a manual the important thing is that people have a choice in what fits their lifestyle rather than tedious NHS deciding.
