LOVE. The sound of you libraries but WHY have you never included a pattern Arpeggio Tor where WE can create our own patterns easily - this is a serious flaw in the great work you have done. Your instruments are hands down the best sounding, but the pre packaged patterns are SO LIMITING! Is this on the proud t plan int he future?? You must do this! Thanks for the great work.

Great video. I have a question though, I can't find this info in the Sunburst manual or the video: how does the engine determine what part of the pattern to play if you 'come in late'? What I mean is that since most patterns appear to be two bars long, is it possible to just use say the last two notes of the second bar? Or do you need to use the shift to move things into position?
@recording-tutorials
@recording-tutorials 3 жыл бұрын
Basically, whenever using any of the Session Guitarist libraries within a DAW, its playback is synced to the transport of the host. Therefore, a two-bar pattern will start at bar one, start over at bars three, five, seven and so on. When you 'come in late', the pattern will come in late as well, i.e. it will start playing from the next strum in the pattern. Let's say, you play a chord on the second beat of bar two, you'll hear the last three beats of the two-bar loop and it will start over on bar three. If you want to shift the pattern to a different position, use the pattern shift feature in the inspector. If you want it to be a little laid back, use the timing offset on the playback page.

Thanks for these tutorials! I have one simple question: I love that you can change the fret position, as it is way to add realism, on a real guitar I often play the same note on two strings to change the texture. But I did not find a way to automate this control. Only seems to open many instances of kontakt, each with the wished fret position... I would be happy to be wrong though! :)

Hello! Please display the difference between choosing SYNC to HOST or START on KEY. Most videos say that the User should place the Pattern Key a little ahead of the beat, meaning beat 1 at the beginning of a measure. Would you please display how to sync in the middle of the measure and how far ahea. an 8th note a quarter note no videos ever explain this. Thank you for reading.

Benutze Studio One Artist. Normalerweise ziehe ich beliebige Plugins einfach per Drag and drop in eine Spur. Hoffe inständig, dass viel Musiker das lesen und mir irgendjemand helfen kann!? Schon mal danke und musikalische Grüße Peter Bengelmann

Okay, I’ve bought it. Problem found. My song in is E minor - chords Em G A C D so these are out of the usual circle of fifths but, work my composition. Ezkeys or Scaler 2 can cope without issues but, having difficulty getting your instrument to play the right chords in the voicing generator. Is it possible because it doesn’t look like it at present. Nearest examples I’ve found are some sus4 chords in certain pattern groups. Help?
@experience_music
@experience_music 3 жыл бұрын
Hi, you can play any chords you like. In your case, there are two options: a) Turn the auto chords off, and select one of the five voicing presets in the dropdown menu. Now you can play simple chords, such as your progression Em, G, A, C, D etc., and the voicing generator will turn your simple triads into typical voicings. b) Turn the auto chords off, and also turn the voicing generator off by selecting "as played" or "OFF (globally)". Then you can play any chord, voicing or inversion you like, and the playback will be an exact representation of your played notes. In our next video, we'll address exactly this topic. Please stay tuned.
@andymacc
@andymacc 3 жыл бұрын
@@experience_music I’m simply wanting to play one finger chords in that progression of Em G A C D so have the ability to fine tune the auto chords available to match any unavailable in the minor or major scales you have at present. Better still, the ability to play in chords and have the software match the scale say Dorian, etc. I think it should be possible to play House of the rising sun chords because the one finger chord option is a great selling point
@experience_music
@experience_music 3 жыл бұрын
@@andymacc Well, the mentioned chord progression of the song "House of the rising sun" switches between three different E based modes or scales: Starting from E dorian (A major contains the E dorian major six "c sharp"), then E aeolian (reverting back from c sharp to c in the C major chord), and eventually even to the E melodic minor scale containing the leading-tone d sharp in the B major chord. Bottom line, the auto chords module can only be seen as a limited way of playing the seven degrees in a typical major or minor scale, not being able to switch between three different scales or modes as you play. Even if possible, that would be way more complex than simply playing the desired triads without the auto chords module engaged. So back to my suggestion of deactivating the auto chords mode to play your desired chord progression only with the voicing generator: You can even reduce the triads to two-note intervals, which are still converted to full chords and voicings by the voicing generator: Playing a minor third (e.g. e and g) will create a minor chord, while playing a major third (e.g. a and c sharp) will generate a major chord. If the voicing is major by default, you can even leave out the third and play only a single key. That's as close as it gets to "one finger playing".
@andymacc
@andymacc 3 жыл бұрын
@@experience_music Thank you so so much for your in depth reply and the breakdown of these scales. It is strange that I seem to write in this way at times and House of the rising sun seemed a great way to convey my obvious difficulties in trying to play software in this way. Yes, the two finger method I will now try. That will be a great help. I do love the inspiration this guitar emulation brings and the time saved plugging pedals together for quick ideas. I do come at this as a creative rather than a theorist type of musician so having your response really helps get past the frustration felt initially, by understanding this in such detail. How fascinating. Maybe let people know too, the differences between deluxe and vintage, not just in model tonality but, in the patterns and presets built in or if they’re the same that’s cool too of course. Once again thank you so much for all the help. Bottleneck sounds one day??? All the best

Hi, how do I get in touch with you ? Here is the post I made on a music forum Hi. Anyone know SECRETS of Native Instruments - Electric Sunburst processing ? You have to know the software to appreciate what im getting at but I cant replicate the tones even when using NI plugins on their own provided dry signal ( their guitar loops with ALL amps and doubling and FX turned off ) I noticed how radio friendly and polished the guitar loops are and because I have Guitar Rig 6 I figured I could get the same tones by putting together the same plug in chain as they show in their UI and using their own provided dry loops as a guide. Tweak until I matched.. cant even get close. I was then going to play my Les Paul through this FX chain. I will email the makers but can anyone help how to get super mega polished tones if they dont know whats going on inside Electric Sunburst ?
