for a non guitarist like me, ni is heaven. I always wanted to make some rock songs

Saw people talking bout this in the comments already, but had to write it anyway! You guys should definitely do a funk one! I have and use the Scarbee Funk guitarist, but it definitely needs a GUI, workflow update, and more chords options. If u guys did that with a Strat, you would be legends!!

just got electric vintage and I don't have any of the other guitar instruments but this really sounds real once you fine tune it to your style...I was worried it would be all twang and crunch but it really does sound like a telecaster and compared to most of the stock Logic guitars and some others I've heard it rings out without wavering and decays naturally.

In the second example the NI Electric Vintage sounded better than the real guitarist in my opinion. Better sounding attack and tone. Really amazed at how far virtual guitars have come.

We love funk, too :-) ...The Electric Vintage library contains quite a lot of funk patterns already. Did you check them out? (Listen to the song in the background at kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHzGf4uDqN-SrLc - it uses some of the patterns.)

I have made a video about the Electric sunburst deluxe with 17 additional demos just to show how it real sounds. Some of NI demos have too much effects on it so they are not that clean to identify... But now I'm very interested in the Electric Vintage Version...

@shawn41892 жыл бұрын
I got them all right, but I also play guitar. Even if I wouldn't use them on an album for myself, they're great tools for writing/arranging, and maybe even demos. Pretty much every other virtual guitar sound out there is awful. If I want to sketch out a guitar part, and later learn to play it, it helps a lot if it actually sounds like a guitar.

100 points. As guitar player, i hear the difference :)
@waltergibbons4223 жыл бұрын
The main difference is with the live musician, he doesnt have to play whats in the software, he can play what YOU want. The problem im having with all of this stuff, is If I write songs on acoustic guitar, id like to have software that plays TO the song, not me trying to play the song through the software. Some of the riffs sound great, but how are you going to use stuff that everybody has, and then call it your song. It seems its more for people who dont know how to compose, they are writing on top of the music provided. If Im wrong please correct me.
@limbsmith3 жыл бұрын
people with similar mindset usually say stuff like "eww sampling is shit how can you use something that other people can use you'll be so unoriginal" and then will go record another nirvana cover lmao it's not about the tools it's about how you use them nothing stops you from playing some riffs to you chords, converting riffs you like to DI wav, then edit and re-amp it, you get the greatest quality and awesome techniques you can't play yourself while maintaining transformability it's really not hard you just gotta use your brain.
@waltergibbons4223 жыл бұрын
SO if its not about the tools, why do I need this again? and Please post a song you have done with the software, id love to hear it ahemm....

I've given up trying to work with this plugin. It takes so long to craft a barely passable sounding groove I might as well just play the damn thing in. It sounds good if you're going for very robotic and quantised rock or something, but anything where you're looking for realism, just buy a nice guitar and learn a few grooves. Better yet, pay an actual guitarist.
