Thanks for a valuable lesson today. Years ago, I learnt from people around me that age is only a number. After retirement in 2007, I made it a rule to take a walk 18,000 ~ 20,000 steps a day, but it is because of advanced age, that number reduced to ca 8,000 steps. One day by curiosity, I made a calculation and found out the distances of walking in 10 (ten) years correspond to that of around the equator, 40,100 km. I am quite healthy and play tennis with my neighbors every Friday afternoon, April through October on the outdoor tennis court and the rest indoors. Basking Ridge, NJ USA
