For real! I actually bought this snare on Feb 2nd and just got it in a few days ago. It’s such a blast to play on. If only I could make it sound as good as nic does. :P

Lewis Bulled yes but I don’t mean that negatively. They’re all hand made when ordered and Evetts seems to have to take a plane or long tripe to find the Tasmanian black wood. The company was probably making around 15 of the Nic Pettersen snares at one time while making mine. The hardware was a little delayed for completion as well due to Covid-19 but that only added on about a week in a half.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this album and I think it's their best one yet. And no, I'm not proclaiming to be a studio engineer/ producer, but you don't need to be a professional to realize that the album has bass that drowns out the drums so much that it's just a huge blob of noise without any beat clearly articulated. It sounds mediocre at best when I have my ATH-50x's on, but in my car it's absolutely terrible. Need to turn down my bass and boost mids just to let the drums breathe, and even the guitars are overpowered a bit.
