Hi, guys thank you for sharing both of you are wonderful and a beautiful couple to. The linaza the thick test is because they leave the seed soaking over night, then you mix the clear thick liquid with anything beverages. The semilla de gicaro is part of the cacao FYI and arroz con piña they cook the rice with pineapple and cinnamon sticks, the reason I know because my mother used to make it when I was sick the pink color is vanilla. When you see most drinks that have colors because they use vanilla and sometimes the natural fruits gives out the colors to. I never had grama before and some of the drinks that both presented. Awesome video ! I loved it ! One of my favorite videos of yours , ok I need to watch more as I don’t come to KZbin as mush as I should.. though I was thinking that too bad you didn’t get this idea before as starring in Mexico there are many refrescos, Nicaragua has some similar names with Guatemala for example but different ingredients as Jamaica for us it’s just boiled Jamaica then chilled and sugar ... the arroz con pina maybe was horchata but they add piña there ? ... oh and tamarindo I was surprised because in Australia there are tamarindo trees and my bosses looked A4 me weird when I picked from the tree boiled and made my Guatemalan refresco ... hehe btw congratulations on the 1K!!! Wohoooooooo

Hey Rachel! A big thanks on the 1000! We are very chuffed about that! So glad to hear that you enjoyed this video and it would certainly remind you of home! Silly question but is tamarindo the same as tamarind? We had it in our fridge back in Australia! Arroz con pina tastes different to horchata, we had our first horchata back in El Salvador and loved that! I haven't seen horchata advertised here, it doesn't appear to be as popular.
@trailofthewanderlust1933 жыл бұрын
@@BucketListTravellers hi Jay & Jon, I know I am slow at coming to KZbin but eventually make it here hehe it’s never a silly question 😉 yes in fact tamarind =tamarindo 😉 ah ok I am now intrigued but the arroz con piña drink then I thought they just have added piña to the horchata but I guess not uhh hehe yeah as there they have arroz con leche as dessert too. I guess Horchata is just Mexico , Guatemala and El Salvador (each with their version) hehe

@@trailofthewanderlust193 😁 No dramas, we know too well how hard it is to maintain a presence on multiple platforms and we have two pairs of hands! Glad you cleared that up re the tamarindo! Arroz con Pina is definitely different to Salvadorean Horchata, what surprises us is how the drink is pink!

I was born in the US. But my grandmother would make all these drinks & now I make them at home. The reason the drinks are pink is because they put frambuesa. I haven’t found that here in the US.
