Andreas Vollenweider is an international treasure. Coming from his Classical upbringing, he has evolved a beautiful celebration of music from all over the world. You can hear elements of Bach, African, Jazz, Avante-Garde, Eastern, Middle Eastern, Classical, even Pop! He is a product and pioneer of the New Age. I have seen him several times live, and one never knows in advance just what you are going to hear and experience. He is truly a magical spirit, and his music helps heal the world. Thank you, Andreas!

I'm 57,and my first encounter was freshman year of college and was drawn to his music just reading a review in local community paper (valley advocate)& it sounded interesting to me,so I purchased white winds without a listen, one of the best purchases I ever made, and I was mainly a straight classic rock listening guy,was lucky enough to see him @ the Wang center on the white lion tour also with the love of my life.. truly magical ❤️💓🪅

Very often it accompanies me, on different occasions and different conditions of my well -being. And there is always the same outcome - unique feelings and calm.

My mom took me to his Behind The Gardens concert in San Jose, California without ever hearing about him when I was in my early 20’s and I was forever hooked. Since then I went to many of his live concerts when he was touring after releasing his White Winds, Down To The Moon and Dancing With The Lion albums. I remember being so wrapped up like a blanket listening to his music. So amazed by his groups ability to take me places and I will never forget the feelings I experienced as tears rolled down my face as I sat there listening to these masters make such beautiful music. OMG. I’ll never forget.

Fell in love with my first album in 1990 "Dancing With The Lion", then many albums later...it is music for my fanciful soul...I go places...I make movies in my head....I fly through the sky....I swim with dolphins across the ocean, to the music..to the beats...it is beyond soothing, and imagination....I know every beat to every song....my mind tells stories with each melody....a very satisfying way to escape the world, because this kind of music lures emotions out of you that you never experience.... It is beautiful. ....it transcends time and space.....✨ 💙🌺

It was during my early teens, and obviously I had much more spare time to listen to his records over and over.
