I have always found this piece thrilling. So liltingly sweet in the minor section, heroic and triumphant in the parallel major, and the "shred" section could/should inflame the imaginations (and chops) of heavy metal guitarists. And these two beautiful young players do it justice. Bravo!

Ieri a Bressanone abbiamo ascoltato varie registrazioni di Francesca Temporin e Walter Salin dal collezionista MARIO CASTIGLIONI fondatore della Pro Cultura e suo presidente fino a poco fa, carica che ora ha passato al dirett del Conservatorio di Bolzano. I come giornalista professionista e musicologo dopo 35 anni di Milano da 4 anni vivo in Pusteria e continuo a occuparmi di musica. It is the 12th sonata overall. Op. 1: 24 caprices Op. 2: 6 sonatas for violin & guitar Op. 3: 6 sonatas for violin & guitar This sonata is op. 3 no. 6. Hence, it is the 12th sonata.
