New build are that much in a luxury building. It's a renters market and the sellers market is collapsing with raising interest rates. My friend is paying $600 USD for a Studio in The Edge Condo. These old owners are missing out on chances to sell there investment units easily but think there are suckers out there

Yea, for that price it should have a much better balcony and view. That balcony is basically unusable staring at a wall and mosquito breeding ground and right next to the aircon like that. I would rather stay in Markland. Big balcony with sea view and those only go for 20k a month or 3.5mil although it will only be 45sqm for that price.

Great condo in a good location but without a sea view (or any view) it might as well be 100 miles from the beach. Thai quota a negative. Ambitious price. Worth more like 3m or 15,000 - 20,000 a month. I'd rent it for half what he expects as I don't care too much about views. I like the refurbishment, the spaciousness, and the proximity to baht bus routes. Superb televisions.

Nice condo Jas. I wouldn't pay the rental, but for that price would almost consider buying...almost. Something that is very dear to me in my future retirement there, next year, is a decent gym with weights, I don't care about treadmills, I walk to the pub for that. Also a sauna. People ask, WTF, sauna, but there is so much evidence that they are good for you...generic, I could write loads. A pool that you can maybe do 20-30 laps/day. My retirement is mapped out, it is going to be about taking care of myself, and that means not having to get up at 5 to get to the gym for 6 to get to work for 0730, to work all day to go home and drink piss to forget having to work all day!
