Thank you for your review. I generally love their plugins for the sound quality (very musical), the ease of use and the price point. They have other good stuff like T-De-Esser, T-Exciter, T-Clarity and T-Puncher. I use all of them on a regular basis. Great sound improvement and problem solver plugins. Like you said, when you’re vibing with the music and don’t want/need to go too technical, that’s what you want. Turn a couple knobs and you’re good to go. They have a lovely customer service and support as well. Very quick and friendly. To me it’s one of the best newcomer companies in the plugin business.

I know is probably a long shot but I would love to see what you think of the new spectral bundle in Bitwig Studio. There has been a huge controversy around it for Bitwig users because Bitwig has used an update plan model where you pay $170 once a year and you get everything they add to Bitwig without paying extra for premium features but with this new Spectral Bundle update they charge an additional $79. I did buy it and I think the devices they added are the most advanced audio mixing and sound design tools ever made and I think they definitely worth the money but Bitwig screwed up the PR for themselves by not telling their users before making this change. I would love to see what you think of the devices. They are a frequency splitter, a harmonic splitter, a loudness splitter and a transient/tonal splitter. They make it possible to add any effect, 3rd party or native to the different types of signal splits by each device. If you find this interesting I would love to get your reaction to these devices.

Wytse, your explanation about how brain function likely relates to the simplification of controlling gear and to the psychological phenomenon of not interrupting creative cognitive processes and avoiding "switch costs" (as we call them) was very, very good based on your introspection... until you tried to relate those processes specifically to cerebral hemispheric differences ("depending on which half of your brain is working..."). There are robust cerebral hemispheric differences, but they don't relate to things like creativity versus logical thought or anything resembling broad dichotomies like that, which are common misconceptions. Sorry, I just had to comment. It would be like you watching a video of me saying something falsely dichotomous like, "As you increase the compression, the EQ decreases," or something like that, which would drive you crazy. Good job, though!

When it comes to equipment being "simpler" sometimes "simpler" also means more complicated. To me, both is ideal. Something like this on the surface, one knob etc. But then click and another screen pops up to go deeper if desired. I say "simpler" can become more complicated because at times, you may have to go back and do stuff in another plugin, or set of them, you'd more ideally handled in the same framework and mechanics of the original "simple" plugin itself.... a basic example... Lets say you only want to saturate one eq region or you want to saturate all regions but one... multiband option within would enable you, otherwise, you either gotta settle for departing from your ideal vision OR you gotta manually break the track into multiple eq bands and apply the saturation to desired eq region(s) only. That is one of many possible examples. ALSO... BEYOND THAT... maybe you want to experiment (also on the creative side) with multiband application of saturation... you can have a MORE SIMPLE road to that with more options (even if they are on an alternate screen) with the less "simple" version of the plugin.
