The thing I love so much about the Melusine lore is how each of them treasures a piece of gear. They were born from a Meka explosion, and all those gears shot into Elynas's internal organs. So, each of those gears was the first thing they held in their hands when they were born. I dunno. It feels really cute.

Mamere's Token that she used to repair Seymore could have been one of Seymore's own main components that was dislodged from him in the explosion, hence why Elynas told Mamere to use _her token_ to repair Seymore with.

I've been having this theory that those tokens melusine were born with are "parts" from explosion inside Elynas when Mary-Ann fights Narsizzenkreuz institute 400 years ago. So every melusine was born with certain "shrapnel" that made contact with elynas body somehow. As to why they have many human personalities and "jobs", we might have to pursue a darker route of this theory..

It is a consequence of the primordial water being polluted. And further evidence that Celestia's rules exist for a reason. The Oceanids longed to live on land and have relationships similar to humans Egerias sin was to cross Oceanids with primordial water, this created the pollution of primordial water and the memories of human beings living inside it, this is ultimately what creates Neuvilettes amnesia because he is supposed to hear everything that happens inside the water. The way Neuvilette views this is that the Melusines were created out of the greed of humans to understand things way beyond their comprehension they are in man ways dragons that have their potential blocked by human ambition and I don't think he likes humans quite as much anymore. Ultimately Neuvilette is trying to correct the transgressions of the first hydro archon Egeria and Focalors recognized that.

That melodic motif when you enter the Ordo, the three ascending notes following by three descending notes... so good. It's a motif throughout the entirety of Fontaine's music, including the main themes, which shows how interwoven the Ordo was throughout its history.

Narzissenkreuz WQ is just The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen of Fontaine (If you know the reference, congrats, you're old as me) ensemble cast converging, I really wish a similar event or WQ that pull that kind of connective plot lines together, it's so cool!

I think the craziest thing that Elynas and "The Book Quest" hinted at is that, like what happened to Durin, the Abyss twists the perception of the beings affected by it. Durin and Elynas both thought they were having fun with everyone as they actually wreaking havoc on the world and cuasing untold numbers of deaths, and "The Book Quest" has similar moments of Abyssal things appearing pleasant. So it's an interesting theory angle that the Abyss has almost like a halucinatory effect on it's victims, tricking them all into believing they're having a fun time as their "fun" destroys Teyvat

Honestly, my brain got overloaded with info once I got to meet Elynas that the dialog with Seymour went over my head a bit so watching this helped me recap it. I had some info gaps from doing the subsequent Narzissenkreuz quests so thanks for these playthrough.

Elynas,Durin, Susbedo and Albedo are like siblings. Klee is like albedo's sister(lets just say cousin as alice and gold can be considered sisters). This would make Elynas Klees's cousin as well..and all the melusines would be her and Albedo's neices.

I.. just realized just how similar Elynas, Durin, and Little Durin feel after they're borned or created in this world, they all have a Massive, Corrosive and frightening body that makes them look terrifying and destroy everything they stumbled upon. And when they realize that their existence brings no good to the world, they just either Accept their death or hide and protect the one that they wanna protect as hard as they can regardless if they're accepted or not. Even after their "death" Why R.. Why did you just release your little children in this world like this, I know that Elynas and Durin are basically still "alive" some way or another but you technically make them suffer and be killed tragically I really hope that Hoyo will make us an animated video of the moment R created and released them, I really.. really wish to see their actual form and voice And if there's another dragon with the same fate as them in Natlan and Snezhnaya, I don't know if I can forgive R except if she explained it to us

Oh, and question, Arnold, when we dive into the book of esoteric revelations, did you turn around and looked into abyss portal? It shows Chasm room where we ended Dain quest. Interesting little detail.

Now that murder of birds has released the final part, I can say what’s on my mind about Elynas. I won’t spoil 4.8 but the important part to know is that the solution the cast of 4.8 had to resolve the problem in act 3 is VERY similar to this world quest. Suffice to say, there is a way to save someone that was apart of a past stream of events by changing their form to that of an appropriate form in order for them to live without harming others. For elynas, he could not live with the people from the surface and thus now live through the melusines he created. This quest also hints that he will one day possess a tangible form that won’t harm anyone. Now apply this to this specific person hinted at in the past and bam, you see that there is a way to save them. If you know you know. For random people who don’t know, you can watch murder of birds vod.

I edit the world quest content so cuts like this are made based on brevity and "trimming out the fat" when it comes to covering the most crucial parts of world quests. This quest line was already over 3-hours long across two videos, so it can't be expected that every aspect of a world quest will be covered. Then again, the 10 minutes or so that you mentioned were cropped out don't necessarily hinge on the overall quest's contents. It's just footage that isn't that important to post when most players have already experienced it themselves.
