Being as I would be by myself, I would split that first bedroom in half and use one side as a pantry with an upright freezer and the other half of the room would be for my yarn. I would probably curtain off that little desk area and put shelves in there for another pantry space for maybe small applicances.

Our modular had one of those computer area’s off the kitchen, across the laundry room. We took out the desk, added shelving and installed two (a set like you might find on a closet or pantry) bi-fold doors, because the width is six feet. We went with the 6-panel wood grain look to match the rest of our interior doors. We bought ours in white primer and painted them. You can also stain them with gel stain and a rag to give them an authentic wood look. We now have a huge pantry. The computer nook was a waste of space for us. I guess a minimalist wouldn’t need a pantry and might appreciate the little office area. We have less than $300 in our modifications 🙂

Add a gas log fireplace to the porch, a wall gas fireplace in the living room, and a wooden venti hood, over a gas cooking stove in the kitchen, and whola🎊-my perfect lake side retirement home. I can't believe how much space this has considering it's a tiny home. It's huge. The small bedroom is bigger than my double bedroom. I love this home. You can't beat a good porch, wish homes in the UK had them.

That home is the perfect size for me! Love the hidden trash can drawer. That frees up space for sure. I'd want a tile shub over a tile shower though. The smaller the home, the less to clean is my statement on smaller homes on here. All homes are special in their own way! Thanks for ALL you do!

I'm selling my home in Oklahoma City and moving south, almost to Texas. My sister lost her husband last September so she wants me to set up a mobile home on her place. She's 70 and I'm 74. This home would be perfect for me and my 16 year old doggie. I've watched lots and lots of your videos and I love them all. You know exactly what women want to see in a home tour. I love your "pantry dance" lol I mostly watch You Tube through my tv which doesn't allow me to comment but I can hit the like button., which I do on all your videos. I want to say the reasons many folks love these may not be for purchasing (although we could dream) but to get decorating ideas, cool looks that we hadn't thought of before. And doing the single wides or the tiny homes is great, as that also is wonderful for ideas, and gives folks ideas for remodeling their home or building an addition. There are looks that say NO in our minds and ones that holler YES, so this channel is perfect to 'walk through' a few homes a day and get lots of ideas of color patterns, storage ideas, all that. So thank you for all this, I'm loving the tours and I mix it up and I like watching a variety of your videos on all on different sizes and styles.

I went and looked at the 18 foot floor plan, as the plan shown in the beginning of the video says it’s for the 16’ model. This house matches the 16’ floor plan. 18’ plan has no dining area and full size laundry in the bathroom. Both are nice 😊

I like the 18 super wides, this one especially. I'm thinking the living room windows behind the couch needs to be tinted but then again you can always add blinds if the sun is beaming too hot.

This is a nice house. 18 feet wide adds a lot. I lived in a 14 wide for 27 years. It was great, it is even greater when you add 4 feet! This house is nicely staged. It should help it sell better.

It’s a beautiful home and not everyone needs a big house. So I think posting it was a great idea. Now on the porch thing, I am a porch girl, the bigger the better! I’m a Mississippi girl and porches remind me of my grandmother and great grandmother’s houses when I was growing up. I want to be able to sit in my swing on my porch when it’s raining and not get wet. So when I see all these beautiful homes with porches built on … what I see is a small porch and a waste of square footage that could have been used for living. So I know when I do find my 20 acres and the home I want, it will be nothing but living space and the porch will be added onto the front and back or possibly a wraparound. Haven’t really made my mind up about that one yet. I figured it depends on the house. I really love the homes you show where they have the double fridge in the kitchen. That kitchen really appeals to me. 😉

Thanks Chance! This is a lovely small home! Exactly what I'm looking for in a retirement/vacation home. I love that it has lots of windows, a generous kitchen with peninsula, a real dining space with a view, a guest room, and a desk. Amazing use of space! Great for entertaining and living. And the front porch is lovely! I might add a window here and there and get rid of the tin accents, but I love it! Do they make it in a modular? This is what I've been asking for - bigger than a tiny house, but with tiny house finishing features and generous windows and good use of space in the small to medium size. Thanks for listening. I'd love to see more homes in this class. In my wish list, I'd make the second bedroom slightly bigger so it comfortably fits a queen bed and a second bath. I know Oak Creek makes those, but they don't have this lovely kitchen and dining and desk space.

I like this home because it is larger than most cottages. You have a porch, a kitchen area with a table a pantry, and a closet for mop, broom & vacuum. The bathroom is large enough to turn around without having to go outside of the bathroom. 18 ft wide makes a notable difference!

A very well thought out house plan. I love it. The built in desk with room for a small file cabinet is such a great idea. We all need room for a file cabinet to house our paperwork. Love the cathedral ceilings and all the windows. The kitchen is wonderful. I could live here. Perfect for a retired person or couple.

I like the size of this home and the layout, for the most part. I'd forgo the hall desk area for side-by-side washer and dryer space. The bathroom door knob meets up with the glass shower door, so maybe a shower curtain instead. Also, a slider to the patio would be nice. Thanks for a great tour, Chance ♥💛♥

They have door stops that fit in the hinges so your door doesn't open to hit the door, wall, cabinet, etc.

Very cute, has a cottage vibe. I realized this is a tiny home, but still, cabinetry doesn't have to be white. I think a nice pale to medium tone color would look great. Needs some really cool rugs and some different décor items to make it shine. Also, that's a fairly large bathroom, I think that a tub/shower combo would work in it. I MUST have a bathtub! After living with only a shower for a year, I miss and long for a bathtub!

Chance could they make a unit with a ramp entrance for those of us who are disabled & ADA wider doorways. Prefer side-by-side W/D, again for those of us who have limited capabilities. Love the corner angled kitchen sink, & the tiled shower. Really like windows up high, not to the floor. GOD'S light preferred to ceiling & lamp lights. (Think VETS & Senior citizens!)
