He knows the trick of the trade making you glide through a bunch of emotions that your heart can think of-love, hope, frustration, regret, and what not. An author per excellence who has a simple story to tell but with intense emotion. Love him.

Nicholas Sparks wrote a memoir of his life, I highly recommend it "Three Weeks with my Brother" it is very heartfelt and truly an understanding of why he writes the way he writes and that he isn't just another writer because he's good at it and makes a good living, but that he is just like any of us, he's human! Highly recommend it.

Dear John was the first book i've read by him and I loved it. Then I started reading his others and realized the storylines are all similar. So in short, it's good to read just one of his books so you won't get bored.

Here's some track and field trivia. Did you know that he was a co-coach for the National Record holders of the high school boys indoor 4x400m relay? He still is a coach. His son, Miles, was a part of that historic relay last year. Kudos to him, his son and his immediate family.

And so if I hate an author I have to search for him on youtube, click on one of his interview videos, and bitch out loud to other people about how much I hate his writing so that people would know how superior my taste is compared common others. You, my friend, have such an amazing life :)

If you dont like Nicholas Sparks or his books then why bother searching this video and watching it? If you have nothing good to say then dont bother... ignore everything related to him and move on... The rest of us like him, like his work and think he is talented... Maybe when you write a book, get it published and have a movie based on it, then you would be qualified enough to criticize him... Until then!! dont waste your time or ours!! Thanks!!

@BrianMagnumFilms okay we get your point, but are you saying that you don't like his books?

@ifureadthisdie did i mention that you can't express yourself? What I meant was that it's okay if you don't like him, but have respect. And there's no need to swear, but well maybe your brain doesn't understand this is a discussion where swearing has no need to be in it. Man, you're really a great person ;)

I don't see why everyone is slaying anyone that doesn't like Sparks' books. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and if they want to air their opinions then they should be able to without other people calling them "fucking haters". Personally I think the books are great, but I can understand why some others do not. Some of the story lines are obvious but I love a good romance book however obvious it is.
@BrianMagnumFilms14 жыл бұрын
@alexlvsport those may be the most abstract movie plots ive ever heard. and no, im not being cynical, im saying gimme one nicholas sparks novel that does not involve, faith, forbidden love, and someone dies at the end
@silver553214 жыл бұрын
@Krun2k I sooo agree with you! I didn't think anyone would have that same opinion as me! I never read his books, and I can't wait till I can, (they don't have his books in my middle school...) but, I enjoyed the movies that were based on his books, and I thought that if I read his books, it'd be kinda weird, cuz he's a guy, but now, after like two years im like OKAY I'm going to read his books! Haha

Actually he does claim to be as good as Hemingway, and to be in the same class as both Hemingway and Shakespeare (also he thinks he's above other romance authors and says he doesn't write in the "Romance" genre, he writes "love stories" (which is another way in which he tries to suggest that his writing is important literature).
@MrAnji199512 жыл бұрын
Oh no me replying is different from you because I love Nicholas and you hate him. I don't give a damn about how much time you spent on each comment, the fact that you are on a video of someone you hate and posting hate comments disgusts me because it's simply annoying. And the fact that your comment disgusts me doesn't make it more valuable (FYI, I wouldn't give much attention to it if it weren't the top comment). Devoting my time to sth I love? Yes my life is amazing, and I love it :)

He can be a douchebag for all I care, I don't buy books because I think the author is a good person I buy them because, well, I f*cking want to read them. After saying that A Walk to remember is my favorite book in the entire world and I don't if it was Nicholas or a serial killer who wrote, all that matters to me is that the book exists.

@ifureadthisdie ok, you're right, seriously. I'll give my goddam opinion on whatever I really hate. I mean, I've actually found out that this is how the world rules. Good day. And hey maybe I was just really meaning my last words on the last comment. I don't know why you think it's sarcasm, maybe because you don't feel like a great person? I don't think so, but anyway, I know this is not where I wanted to go with my first (and calmed) comment, so if you reply I won't do it again. :)

Jesus christ people if you don't like nicholas sparks and you DONT like his books then why in gods-name are you on a video of a nicholas sparks interview...I mean for godsakes why do you need to write about how hes a crappy writer...no one gives a sh*t...so heres an idea, if you dont like a writer or singer or whoever! then dont write about how you hate them on a video...it doesn't do anyone good....just ticks people off...sry if this offends anyone but my god it gets annoying when people do tht
