This song brings me back so many memories. Back when i was with my girlfriend during 9 years. She loved the Silent Hill videogames (she looked like Eileen so that played a part in why she liked it) and we used to discuss about the meanings and everything. She passed away 5 years ago. Yamaoka has ceased partaking in Silent Hill games in Downpour. He does have a band. He also works freelance for other projects unrelated to Konami. Makes you think, right? So many amazingly talented people employed eith Konami who end up having to do freelance work.

The only problem with the SH4 soundtrack is that most of the songs didn't appear in the game at all, and almost all the time the game is without music. Your Rain and Waiting for you for example are not used at all and only appear in the ost cd.
Akira Yamaoka set the bar high. It's always a pleasure to listen any Silent Hill soundtrack.

That's so stupid. Like the team made this game literally a year after SH3. I blame the studio for pressuring the team to make it within a short period of time. Even with the time constraint, this was an excellent game and completely different from the formula of the previous games.

In these games the music adds to an event that just happened. Like In Silent Hill 2 when Maria died in the hospital the music played to add to the sad moment.
