Thanks, Hany. Yes, there was an update to Zotero after I made this video. Now the Zotero icon appears as its own button, on the right side of the browser. It is no longer in the address bar. Glad you liked the video. I'll be covering other topics in Zotero over the next couple of weeks.

Hello Dr. Nicholas,I have noticed a new situation in Windows 10. The icons referred to in your video to save articles and multiple search results has been relocated. To be honest, I'm not sure if it is related to Windows 10, or it's an update in Firefox. But I thought I should bring it to your attention non the less. The "paper and folder" icons appear next to the "Z" instead of the URL area.Thank you very much for those videos.

Hi Nick, can Zotero be used for research? - I have watched all your videos on Zotero btw. For example, I use DocFetcher (this program isn't used for citations), but I use this program to index and scan instantly hundreds of files for keywords. It shows me where the words are located within files too. This way I can quickly access details on topics I need more knowledge on at the given moment. Of course that I must have those files stored locally. However, I'd like to do research on topics on which I do not have local files. For example, I like to use Wikipedia for (non academic) researching the Genealogy of Christianity. I will go to multiple pages on Wiki such as forefathers, bible versions etc. For this I already use the Wikipedia app to save lists. But I find that still clunky. As instead of saving entire pages and forgetting special reason why saving the entire page, I would rather HIGHLIGHT sections on Wiki pages and create relationships, even chronological if possible. The highlight would of course have a link to the full article. Can I use Zotero in this manner?

Absolutely! You can use Zotero for collecting, organizing, annotating, and searching sources for a research project. Citation is just the final piece.

Nicholas Cifuentes-Goodbody Is there a way to just go to a website, like Wikipedia, and highlight a section or two and export just those sections?
