I absolutely love this! It spoke to me. The part where it said something about coming out of the water and Christ being there was just so (no words for it). I was baptized on January 24th, 2021. I came out of the water and Christ is always there and will always be. Amen.

Thank you, Mrs. Nordman for sharing. I have heard your heart more than once, and the challenge and comfort you dare to voice is honest and true. God bless you.

Nicole, From quiet, tense moments in Afghanistan a decade ago, to just these last few moments listening to this new song, you have always somehow reflected Jesus' voice to me better than anyone else. You are a blessing to many and I'm grateful that you're still singing, still sharing, and still listening to our God and glorifying him with your beautiful talents. Thank you!

When life finally comes to a stop and I have a moment to think, sometimes my heart hurts. It's like, as long as there is noise or motion, I don't have to here my thoughts. I know there are moments where I have gone terribly wrong, but God was always able to see me. My feelings and beliefs vacillate, and I am left stranded by my own self-analysis. My greatest fear is to be turned away. In those moments, when I break down and cry out, my whole body quivers, knowing he can hear me. I almost don't care about the answer; the sense of being heard is so overwhelming. I hope to mature and listen better, before my time is over, and these moments when his infinite voices find me, when the songs sung from the hearts of those he touches stop me in my tracks, I know that far was never a reality. He had never left. Through all of my seeking, finding, and wandering, he is here. To the one who reads this, please, don't ever give up. As long as you have breath, you can call his name, and that is the greatest gift we were ever given; the presence of God at our soul's request. God bless you, and keep you, and remind you that he is the one who woke you up, so no matter how terrible life is, he is willing to bring you safely home to himself. "You were never moving closer. You were only, always here." -Nicole Nordeman
