Just a heads up, the music from tapspace is completely different from this performance. I purchased the tapspace "violent ice cream" compilation and the sheet music is no where near this performance. Some bits and pieces of the solo are resembled but the sheet music and performance are two different solos.

Sebastian Tovar that bothers me so much. It’s not as intense as the actual performance.

Kinda wish he'd put some of the licks into the last 3rd or so into the version he played in Blast! Still...awesome stuff.

hey man, good job I guess but one question? why were you wearing your band uniform to perform that? do you wear that thing everyday? and also what's up with the neck slicing thing at the begining? I guess it was alright, but it kinda seemed like you were peacocking. oh well

+brian moreno -- Holy smokes kid, if you weren't so utterly clueless your comment would be offensive but instead I just find it amusing. You say you have 1 question but you asked 3, and they were all idiotic. For your information, which you desperately need more of - It was customary to wear your drumcorps uni (not band uni) while performing in the Individuals & ensemble competition. Some people still do it to this day, it was a sign of respect for the corps you were representing. Nick is one of the greatest ever - and peacocking... seriously?? That one doesn't even deserve a response... not sure how old you are but I'm hoping you're only about 10 or 11 and not at all involved in this activity. Otherwise you need to do some research... a lot of research. Instead of adding your worthless opinion to a video like this, take that time and look up more vids, from different era's - and get an education instead of spreading stupidity.

The performance was for a DCI competition, so I'm assuming he had to wear the uniform to represent his corps.

Mike Rab You beat me to it. I was about to say the exact same thing. Let's hope he's 10.

Mike Rab Nick has repeatedly been outed in our community for being a terrible educator, abusive at times. The peacocking he is referring to (I assume) is how far the drum is up on his body. The positioning of his drum is very different than our era is used to, as I would assume you are aware of. The height of the drum is causing his arms to do a ton of weird things
