Great interview. I'm glad Bostrom is not afraid to take his ideas to their limit, even when they start to push into areas that scientists usually avoid out of fear of being seen as irrational. The western scientific view has almost completely ignored the implications and significance of consciousness. As a result it is missing at least half the picture of reality. Once we have the technology, we will begin to truly explore our own minds and go far beyond our current limits.
