There are musicians, and there is Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds. Amazing.

I've been a Nick Cave fan for a long time now and I must admit that this is the best song he has ever written.

Nick has told me how happy he is for your advice: he says he is pushing frantically every chance he has!!!!

_Push the Sky Away_ is an album like no other. This song is especially holy.

veritaseros agreed. I just cannot stop listening to this... it's so powerful, so fucking intense. Warren Ellis is absolutely magnificent, a true genius that likes to stay in the background. Warren did an interview a few months ago on 6Music and he discussed a lot, including the time Nick and his family lost their son. It was absolutely brilliant, heartbreaking and enlightening. Respect to Nick and the Seeds.

I went to see Nick Cave last month with a friend who had never been. We were talking to some people before the concert and he asked 'What do people do at a Nick Cave gig? Does everyone dance around?' Someone said, 'It's like being in church, except it isn't boring'. The reverence is there, people stand rapt with their mouths open or locked into smiles watching him perform. I was about 1.5 meters away from him when they did this song at the end, I sang my heart out and we waved our hands like unfolding petals around him... He locked eyes with me for a second.. FUCK YEAH!!! ....maybe the LSD and ketamine had something to do with it too.. but I almost burst into tears when I think about that moment.
