Nick is one of the best! Had the opportunity to meet him and his band mates in Seattle last year. They were all very friendly and cool and signed some vinyl for me. Long live the mighty Elder!

Cool to see another Seattelite who's into Elder! I was at that show too, they absolutely Shredded ( Howling Giant & Ruby the Hatchet were great too...) Glad that you got to meet the guys, not jealous at all. ;)

Thanks for interviewing one of my favorite musicians! Everything he does is terrific: Elder, delving, Eldovar, Weite, Gold and Silver...all excellent stuff.

@@micfey Weite is a project with Nick and Mike Risberg from Elder, w/ two other musicians. Their album is called "Assemblage" and has cool Krautrock vibes. Check it out!

I saw Elder open for TOOL in DTLA mid February and liked their music. I was very disappointed in their live show due to the fact that the singer was an excessive and compulsive "hair flipper". Please, if you read this members of Elder, cease the "hair flipping"! It was such a distraction to your music. Thank you!

@bennymwelch lol, hey Benny! I'm aware of "hair flipping" being a characteristic of Metal bands, and I guess that the idea of future spine and neck problems doesn't enter a younger person's mind.
