Went to their show in Detroit Friday night. Sitting 5th row center, my lower back throbbing from the $200 folding chair that was my space capsule for just over 2 hours, it was worth every penny to literally have my soul hand dipped in 100+ decibels of this song. By about the 6th minute the ache had started to be washed away by Nick and his Mates... Brilliant show, except that I realized at 2am on Saturday that no matter the source of how many hundreds of dollars I might spend on headphones, it will never measure up...

I was so lucky to see Pink Floyd on their Saucer tour in 1967. It was a fairly small venue in LA at the Shrine Exhibition Hall. David had just filled the lead guitar and vocal slot. It was totally amazing. The final time I saw them was in San Diego for Division Bell. with six more shows in between. The only show I really missed was the Wall so I did pretty good. I'm right up there in age with David and Nick. So sad to have lost Richard. Their music will live forever.

I ran into one of your contemporaries between the Gilmour shows in New York in 2016 That’s the thing about this band: it stays with you. There was my life before October 20, 1987 (the first time I saw them live), and after that. A truly transitional moment in life. This performance is at once, stunning and so fresh, you might just think you fell in H. G. Wells time machine. Exactly what Rock n Roll needs right now. Perfect.

Man in my time being here in the Twin Cities I've been blessed to see a lot of fantastic musicians live. Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets with Gary Kemp of Spandau Ballet and three other fantastic musicians I just got introduced to was truly special. As a fan of early Pink Floyd and not being old enough to have seen them live during the era of music that they're covering here it was a real treat to witness and hear this. What Nick at 70 something and these incredible musicians showed all of the people at the show that I attended when they came to Minneapolis was unbelievably brilliant live musicianship. I didn't know of the other three musicians but they were ALL fantastic.. Gary Kemp of Spandau Ballet, showed everyone how fantastic an artist he truly is playing guitar and singing these classic Pink Floyd songs, he really impressed me. This song is one of my all time favorite Pink Floyd songs.

In Nashville, at the old Amsouth Ampitheater, he brought an incredible alto? saxophonist player up. Blew our minds. Had Gabriel arrived? The song was directed to The Heart of the Sons, (PF Band), as i took it from the visuals.
