Nicks been talking about narcolepsy since before Johnny depp trial. He said he had a script for modafinal. Insomnia and narcolepsy can go together. It’s simply timing of sleep/staying asleep or not staying asleep. So he could be having a lot of uncontrollable naps during the day and not be able to sleep for longer periods when he’s supposed to be asleep. But Nick was definitely using ludicrous amounts of drugs.

Narcolepsy is one of those things that shows the true effects of people who can't separate reality from fiction. I've seen the funny TV shows and movies. I've seen people playing pretend. The jurors came out and said they regretted the acquittal with the reason being that the state hadn't provided enough evidence to prove the death was intentional. What they wanted was a video tape of the crime in high resolution with the best possible audio available, but all the prosecution had was a body covered in duct tape, air samples of decomposition in the mother's car, her refusing to report her child missing for a month, her lying about multiple things, her partying it up a day before reporting. Just goes to show that jury selection *really* matters, because the defense managed to get people that despite believing she was guilty wouldn't convict based on the fact that they couldn't witness her performing the act with their own eyes.
