As a kid I thought puppets were hilarious because of how ridiculous it was to pretend to believe that the person holding it wasn’t in control. My brothers and I had these puppet monkeys and other puppets and made them do/say ridiculous stuff to make each other laugh or piss each other off. As an adult I really dislike puppets. I didn’t even like Crank Yankers. When someone quotes crank yankers jokes at me I just say “yeah haha” and nod so they move on. Is Crank Yankers worth watching? Only puppets I can actually bare in small doses is Jim Henson stuff that has a family friendly sense of humor and is done so professionally that you can forget about the people voicing them and moving their strings or whatever.
