This is a ritual house, you can tell by all of the trapezoids, weird angles, the maze like layout, lights looking like eyes, the rectangle windows, and of course the stairs. And a security camera pointing outside through a window? Either John got into the occult and thinks he’s aleister crowley or (they) just want to get away from the mansions every once in a while.

The raiders house just had insane furnishings. The actual bones were fine. This house… is scary. Nick had shown houses that are neglected, tacky, and devoid of personality. But this house is legitimately bad. It’s inconveniencing with the level changes. No continuity anywhere. Everything was purchased in a liquidation sale. I can’t begin to imagine how many code violations there are as well
