Nick's coming out journey of course focuses on Nick as it should (in the same way Charlie's mental health struggles put the focus on Charlie, the one suffering from them) but we shouldn't forget how much positive impact Charlie has had on Nick's journey (and Nick on Charlie finally opening about his trauma). These two are soulmates, meant to be from the beginning to the end, through pain and angst and anxiety and joy and happiness. Forever together.

This series has become so special to me. I started to watch this because os my bf. I think we started watching in the very start of our relationship, and it was a journey cause he also felt guilty about being gay (he's just gay though, not bi. But love to all my bi folks, y'all wonderful and valid like everyone) cause he used to think ot wasn't something he shoud be. But through our relationship and a lot time we are really happy and gay now. Even hos parents (who are pastors at a church) accept us (they were homophobic but my gay ass changed that). Nowadays my bf's mom even sees me as her kid in a way and said that if my bf would ever hurt me somehow she would be pissed 🤭 (but I believe he will nevrr do that). So thats why this seire is so special, it really made us bond better as a couple (I never was one to watch seires but this one eas really special). So, I hope everyone can one day feel comfortable enough to come out on their own terms and be happy as yourselves cause you are valid just the way you are, and love can change a lot of things, it somehow made the situation I was living (with his parents being extrs homophobic) a billion times better and nowadays it keeos getting better so.... Believe in the love you have in your heart, things will get better and I'm sure that, if you didn't find your "Nick" you will. I met my bf when I was 22, so it did that a while but nowadays I have the most wonderful boyfriend in the world. So just keeo going everyone and eventually you'll find someone wonderful 😊

It was a long process and I don't blame him for being scared but I'm glad he isn't as self aware or conscious or as scared or afraid and that he's gradually letting the world see who he is ❤ For most LGBTQ+ youth they feel the need to stay in fear or in the closet becaause they feel like its safer because we have to fight just to love who we want too because society and the world doesnt see it as "normal" yet and for some staying in the closet probably is safer but im glad Nick feels safe enough that he can slowly be who he is on his own time. 🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁❤️🧡💛💚💙💜💗🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈💗💜💙😊

yeah but the people he came out to he KNEW would be in support of him. as they were all charlie’s friends ( who supported him whole heartedly ) & his mother who’s a sweetheart :) season two was different bc he wasn’t sure if they would support… his father.. imogen.. the rugby boys who bullied charlie. it makes sense why he said it was hard

I’m a 56 year old gay man who wishes that there was something as well acted and beautifully put together as this show is when I came out 40 years ago. To anyone who is struggling or questioning or who knows who they are but feels unsafe: you are not alone. There is a whole community of people that loves you. I'm 32 years old and bisexual. I'm still in the closet btw. I have only one friend who i can trust and open up about my sexuality. I felt alone after i found out i like the same gender as mine when i was 20 and still feels alone and left out. All of my friends already have their own life with husband and kids. And I'm here alone watching people moving on with their life and wondering if i too will have that kind of life. I can't come out to every one and to my family because it's hard being bisexual in a religious family. All u can do is try to be happy . I have someone that i really love since i was 23 and she is a girl like me. So it's hard to move on from her even after she rejected me and only see me as her friend. And here I am, a single woman in her 30's searching her live not knowing what's going to happen . It took years for me to accept myself and I'm not ashame of my sexuality because its part of me that i can't denied. All i want is to meet someone who understands me.
