I’ve been a Clemson fan my whole life, and even though (in my own opinion) I think Dabo is the best coach in cfb. I can never deny how great and successful of a coach nick Saban is. He truly is a winner and he speaks so poised and seems to always been in control of his team. I hate to watch Clemson play against him, but I respect him.

I only know of what I used to hear when listening to Bear speak back in the day. Bear always spoke of class. Bear Bryant had class and his teams played with sportsmanship. I really have not noticed these traits with either Nick Saban or his team by watching them. Two points to consider: I remember a few years back for some reason watching Saban on ESPN following a loss to his cross state rival, Auburn, where Nick Saban blamed his players for the loss. This was something Bear Bryant never did as I recall. Second, I recall the Alabama qb and the Crimson Tide Center pushing and yelling at each other during their national title game in the Orange Bowl against Notre Dame. You never would have seen that awful behavior when Bear Bryant was coaching. I actually attended an FSU game against Alabama in Tuscaloosa back in 1974 when an Alabama player pushed a Seminole player. As the Alabama player came off of the field Bear Bryant grabbed this player and appeared to chew him out right there on the sideline. I was very impressed by this since it showed that Bear Bryant backed up what he preached about how to show respect for your opponent. That is my firm position.

I mostly agree with everything he says here and I’m a huge Bama fan of him and the talent he’s been able to produce but I can’t agree with him on the playoffs they need to expand the playoffs not off of rankings off of who wins each division giving other teams chances to be set on a national Stage cuz how does anyone expect the sunbelt to ever get better if they never have a chance to compete in the tournament and have bowl games before or during the first round of the playoffs to decide who else gets in to the national tournament and those bowl games should be for those who are the top 8 teams that’s aren’t already in the tournament so you still have quality teams this in turn give maybe a Con-USA team a lot more exposure then giving them more ability to get better players and then further increasing the chances of them going deeper in the playoffs and winning the title cuz it’s sad watching every top prospect going to the top few teams with almost no changing it’s stupid that it’s always Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, USC, Ohio, and LSU wouldn’t it be fuckinh crazy if a team like UAB gets a 5 Star Rb instead of Georgia or Alabama for the 5th year in a row cuz he’ll that’s what’s made Alvin kamara leave bama to many amazing running backs and he got 0 playing time and the qb controversy wouldn’t exist if they could stop bringing in one of the top 5 QBs In the nation every year

After the CFPs, Bama finished with a SOS at #6 and UGA at #7. So please explain who plays cupcakes? Proper evaluation of the teams says bet the farm on someone else to win the SEC because while Alabama has some red flags (defensive experience, LB depth, new coordinators and a QB controversy) the someone else has arguably the nations best situation in those areas and a proven history of beating Saban. If Alabama played Auburn today, Auburn would beat them historically bad. Keep that in mind while you go run to put money on 5/2 odds because Alabama has a whole lot of ground to make up in critical areas.

Shame tide had two record offense seasons and top qb and did not win a natty.and probly want be like that ever again ,passing game has ruined the game,no defence no more to stop it,just have to make a fewer stops and score more.defence backs hand or tied behind their backs,can't touch them at all,need to address that by NCAA let them give them a little more room to cover them as long as your playing the ball and touching with hand as long as you not mugging them.lot of games lost because of getting automatic first downs,refereeing was awful this year in the sec.ask Alabama,instant replay is good,dam referees even messed it up ,sitting there watching it from ten differentdirection……

And you do know that Georgia is in the SEC West so we have to play them once every few years or so. You would also be smart enough to know that Alabama played Georgia in 2015 so I don't know where you're getting this 5 season thing from. Plus, Alabama plays Georgia next year and don't let me get on Ohio State's past schedules. Like in 2015 when they only played ONE ranked team right? And Nick Saban already scheduled Georgia before, it was a home and home series in 2007-2008. Georgia won the first matchup 26-23, Alabama on the second 41-30.

It was the hardest schedule for any National Champion in NCAA history and the majority of the teams Alabama played made a bowl game appearance. The SEC also went 9-2 in bowl season that year which shows how dominant a conference Alabama was playing in. Meanwhile Ohio State loses to the first and only ranked team they play all regular season... Did I also forget to mention the fact that Alabama's strength of schedule was ranked in the Top 10 in 2016?
