I still think 2020 is pretty special. Being able to get his team to focus throughout the thick of the "pandemic" and all of the things they had to deal with and go through on a day to day basis and to go all the way undefeated was just incredibly challenging. 18-23 year olds staying as focused and disciplined as they did through a year like 2020 I believe is just simply unparalleled. But...yes, with all of the talk of the dynasty is over, Saban having to be patient with the cake in the oven, the dagger that Texas thrust into us at our house, the whole debacle at USF, and having to hear that Georgia is now the king and you can't take the thrown back from them the last couple of years and, and.....OVERCOMING THAT...THAT'S HUGE! So yeah this may be his best coaching job yet. Just wanted to honor that 2020 team and present remembrance of that very, very special team. Roll Tide!!! ❤❤❤🐘🐘🐘❤❤❤

@@pwest2986 Let's be clear here. Saban gave Milroe the chance to reset and teach him a lesson that protecting the football is THE MOST IMPORTANT part of playing quarterback. He knew all along that Jalen was the answer but if for some reason Jalen was to continue turning the ball over then he needed to know who was the next guy up. The USF game if anything was an audition for the backup quarterback job, not the starting job. Ty Simpson won. Buchner got demoted to 4th string and Lonergan got promoted to 3rd string. That's what went down and what came from that very dreadful Saturday. Side note: I really like what Buchner did in the first game against Middle Tennessee this year. I think he played very well and liked what I saw out of him. The thing with Buchner is he's a rhythmic type of player that has to get going pretty early if he's gonna have any success. He never got going against USF and It was awful. I still think he's a decent quarterback though and wish him all the best. Hope he finds a team that fits his skillset well.

It was always at my grandma's house on account of the TV was bigger and nicer. I was raised by a high school football coach and his friends were mostly coaches,, ya know. Grandma made a big ol pot of Chili, and they had a big ass coole iced down ll Miller's on the back porch. I was raised on family connection because I had a oldest uncle who played for Coach Bryant in the 60s and won a Championship. Nathan was the first person to graduate college in the family. He loved Coach Bryant like a dad. That influence was allegiance to Alabama football for life. Win or lose.I ain't nothing but a winner. The 2023 team is my #1 ranked team of all Alabama seasons since 1982. And that's just like my opinion, yall. The way everyone played and coached followed the process and played like a family, especially after the South Florida game. Thinking about it now after all the games are over, I think Alabama will be the first team outside at #5. All I know is going into this game I had a lot of confidence in the whole team to come out with a win. I will say that I had a lot more confidence in our offense than our defense. With that being said from what little bit of the game I got to actually see imho the defense did a lot better than I anticipated & the offense actually did less than I anticipated. However, it was a great team win & I personally believe that this team can still play better than they played tonight. It seemed to me that the Bama had control of the game by the 2nd quarter until it was over. And that they could have scored more if they had needed it.

There is no clear dominant team this year in college football. Saban probably should get coach of the year because this is not one of his best teams and maybe one of his lowest rated beside the 07' or 10' but this team can still win it all. Everybody should lobby for the committee to do an emergency 8 team expansion for this year. There is enough time to work out the logistics before the games are played. Rules aren’t set in stone. Give the fans what they want and crown the true best team for 2023.

The most dangerous Alabama team is obviously any coached by Saban but a early one loss Alabama team is just built different. They seem to become so much better later in the season when they lose a game early in the season. Its like the weight is lifted and they just play and emd up with a chip on their shoulder and something to prove. UGA fan here... Bama/UGA OSU/Mich were the real playoffs. and now... it should just be a rematch for both games. FSU, Washington don't really deserve to be mentioned with those 4 teams (and Texas for that matter)... honestly speaking, because UGA lost the SEC... I think it should be Tex/Bama rematch... Mich/OSU.

I might be engaging in hyperbole here but there is NO OTHER coach who could have led this team to this point. They did not look good at the beginning of the year he benched Milroe TWICE. But the resilience of Coach AND the team showed throughout the year. This is one of Coach Saban's best coaching jobs. Dude is the GOAT 🐐
