So the consensus is we all love what Coach Saban did for Alabama football, for the university and for Tuscaloosa, but I think in fairness our expectations, mine included, may be higher than they should be. In his first year coach Saban didn’t have us seriously competing until after his second year, and by year 3 we were competing for the National Championship. I understand DeBoar has inherited a better team than Saban did, but if I recall, DeBoar has a much younger team and we did lose about 20 or more players on our depth chart. I am not happy about our team’s performance this season because they have been inconsistent and undisciplined, but maybe, just maybe we need to remain supportive this season and raise expectations for next year. It sickens me to say next season, but it is more realistic.

Yep! My son and I were just talking about that. It would have been better if they had kept the transferring to once, instead of like it is now … however many more times the players can transfer now. They don’t learn much by constantly transferring and changing coaches often.
