what i will remember the most about kobe, is his work ethic is what made him into the player he was through his career. he wasn't the #1 pick that all the teams were tanking to try and get. he wasn't the player every team scouted and eyed to draft. the lakers traded vlade divac for the draft rights to kobe on draft day when the hornets drafted him in like the middle of the draft he didn't start his first year he was a 6th man behind guys like eddie jones and nick van exel at the start. but his drive and his unrelenting passion and work ethic elevated his game into a top 10 player all time. and i will never forget when shaq was interviewed once he even spoke on kobe's air balls vs jazz those first couple years, kobe was the only player on the team whiling to take those shots no one else wanted to take the shots but he as a young player was whiling to swing big

Nick did not mention anything positive about Kobe in this segment. It's like I said, when he talks about any player that's not LeBron he can't name anything good. LeBron hasn't won without big names surrounding him. Love and Irving are future hof. Wade and Bosch are also hof. Nick is a poor host on tv and should be able to talk about other players without degrading them bc he doesn't want to hurt his boyfriend LeBrons feelings. I can say players like Kobe, Shaw, Tim Duncan, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, John starks, Shawn Kemp, Charles Barkley, Ervin magic Johnson, Larry bird, Clyde Drexler, Isaiah Thomas, Charles Oakley, Scottie pippen are great players and name moments when they did some great things in the sport. Not all of them are champions. John starks is one of the best to defend MJ in the 93 eastern conference championship for example. It doesn't bring MJ down because he was unleashed by game 3 and the rest is history.

Kobe didn't make it past the first round in 06 and 07 because he faced the suns, and they were one of the best teams in the league. When people debate kobe's career people especially nick always talk about the teammates kobe played with. But never talk about lebron never making it to the finals until he joined wade, Bosh & pat riley. & how kevin love avg 26pt & 15rb 3 allstar appearances 2x all nba 2nd team in Minnesota, then joined the cavs just to say lebron doesn't have help. For 2-3 seasons they tried to run him outta town. But in pau gasol kobe gets a guy who never won a playoff game played in 1 allstar game & was considered soft joined the Lakers his efficiency rtgs went up rebounds went up, 3 straight all star appearances, 3 finals appearances in a row. Nick doesn't know basketball outside of lebron.

HOF centers to help Kobe, OK but for real Lebron didn't win till he had Wade and Bosh and ray allen with them having the biggest meltdown of a superstar. Then wins another with kyrie, kevin love and then loses with adding kyle korver and d williams. Now he has a new group of all stars to more then likely lose agqin becoming 3-6. Yeah he made playoffs with bad teams and a finals (which his teammates were not that bad) but all this in the weakest the east has been, ever. All Lebrons years in a weak conference facing weak competition 4 times a year in weak east teams. Stuffing stats against weaker competition to win mvps. All that to validate my opinion being 3-5 in the finals against the west. In a softer league with barley any dominant big men, and thats very don't touch me, offense friendly. Dude is amazing at driving to the hole making his shooting percentage look great. Stop just stop, Nick rides Lebrons nuts so hard that he will say anything bad about kobe while not putting Lebrons career into context to be fair on the subject... Nick like most Lebron nut lovers will always do this to fit their agenda. Remember to put things in context to see the whole story.

@brzy1188
@brzy1188 6 жыл бұрын
Forget Nick, LeBron is better than Kobe and it isn't close. Why don't you put it into context, LeBron has dominated every series he has been in except the Mavericks meltdown and has only really lost because his team couldn't keep up, he had no help at all the first half of his career with the Cavs, LeBron also had no help against the spurs in the last year with the heat when Wade and Bosh were posted MIA, Kyrie and K. Love went down at the start of the series against the Warriors when they were 2-1 up and then KD broke the NBA last year with the most snake move in the history of the league. It's nice saying 3-6 as if hes a loser and all that but why don't you give context onto those numbers and how he performed in those series with the Mavs of course being the only legitimate blemish, And let's not even get started on how many rings LeBron would have won if he was drafted into a team with a prime Shaq, at least 5 pr 6 anyway before Shaq declined. Look at the stat lines and ask yourself this, why is it Kobe so often was picked up by his team mates in Playoff series yet LeBron is always putting everyone on his back, yet Kobe is the real killer because he likes to chuck up the last shot that more often than not doesn't go in.
@Andycandyman24

Bro he lost to the celtics that kobe beat and lost favored against the magic that kobes team beat. so again just stop man. put kobe in the east his number go up to a crazy statistic. Nick saying Kobe isn't the best in any era is disrespect like most lebron lovers do.
@Andycandyman24
@Andycandyman24 6 жыл бұрын
And in the east you can't dispute that the league is a stat and offense friendly league with no dominant big men. And rules that support big stats, again thats something you can't defend.
@brzy1188
@brzy1188 6 жыл бұрын
So LeBrons stats all come from the east in the regular season? LeBron faced the big 3 with no crew when in Cleveland I already addressed that, Kobe and Shaq lost to the pistons look what LeBron did to them all by himself, like literally all by himself, scored the last 25 points to win it he had NOBODY. I don't dislike Kobe at all hes one of my favourite players but It's pathetic how people try to discredit LeBron without looking at all the facts. Kobe also lost to the Celtics if you hadn't heard. He also played terrible in the game 7 where they beat the Celtics shooting 25% so I'd say the Lakers beat the Celtics not Kobe like you try and make out and I can only imagine how bad he would have lost against the big 3 if he was on that no name Cavs team LeBron had to face them with. LeBron on the other hand was often carrying everyone in most series' he ever played in but keep pretending its all because of the eastern conference smh such a weak excuse you sound like Skip Bayless.

I find it so crazy Kobe Bryant my favorite play of all time. It's getting all of his love now that he's gone. What was his love that when he was alive. He was probably one of the most ridiculed basketball players ever. Everyone always questioned he was a ball hog he shot the ball too much then when he didn't shoot the ball oh now he's selfish now it's just funny to see everybody say all these good things about him people who hated his guts when he was alive. Fakeness and I ain't with it RIP the black mamba shout out to all his real fans who always defended them RIP to the rest of the victims but this fake stuff

To go to the finals 7 times and win 5 in the west coast in my eyes is more impressive then going to the finals 9 times and winning 3 from the east coast cough cough lebron. This dude talking about Tim Duncan who literally played with the most consistent franchise of the 21st century tony Parker, David Robinson,manu Gino bli and ohh I forgot one of the best defenders all time Bruce Bowen as well and the best coach ever Greg popavich.Now I also have to add kobe played with 2 major all stars shaq and pau gasol and that is it. Lebron has had Dwayne wade, Chris bosh, ray allen, Kyrie Irving and Kevin love. My big thing is why all the ffffccckin hate. Basketball is not about just numbers and stats.If it was about numbers Westbrook would be up there in the GOAT convo because averaging a triple double is ridiculous.

Because Kobe WAS the best player of his era and decade, come on from 2000-2010 Kobe was THE best player in the league that’s facts! Not Duncan, not Shaq, and Lebron can’t even be mentioned for best player of that decade. I swear this dude even on Kobe’s moment and day still finds a way to hate on him.

Nick Wrong, you should at least watch your mouth and choose the words you use on your comments as if you are absolute and not attack people who can not answer back. Every player who played against Kobe will not agree on what ever you say against Kobe. All star player who can create his own shot and create a separation on a NBA team know they have the duty to take the shot. Lebron does not have the enough skill and ability to create spacing to always take the final shot but. He will take the ball and decide if he can take a shot or create a play. That is Lebron strength. Plus, your style of attacking people again by saying Kobe's die hard is overstating him does not prove anything. That is what you think negative to others to prove your point. I would love to see you on a debate with Kobe because he will eloquently destroy you.

Buddy King that’s just ignorant, you can’t base the greatness off of two NBA players who both have not retired off of one series. LeBron dominated KD in 2012 so what’s your argument for that? I’ll listen to an argument if you think KD is better right now, but he is not and will not be better than LeBron all time. LeBron has way more accolades than KD

What about this. What I remeber about Lebron is him not making the playoffs his first 2 yrs. Him looking lost in the ECF against Boston. Him losing to Dwight Howard in the ECF. Him losing getting swept by the Spurs because he had no jumpshot. He quitting against Dallas. Him getting destroyed by record margins by the Spurs. Him Getting beat by the Warriors because he chose not to guard Iggy. Him getting beat in 5 games by the Warriors because he couldnt stop Durand and the team defense was 22nd. And then comming back with a 29th ranked defense and getting swept because he quit again. How about that? I remember him being on the losing end of numerous blowouts. And I remember several rosters that he couldnt work with and couldnt win with even tho his deepest fans say he makes everybody better. I remember him winning in his era because he joined allstars and never winning without 2 allstars that he didnt help develop and alsp having 2 allstars and losing to a team that had only 1. I remember excuses being made for him and lies being told about his career every single day by people like you.
