Heat Lifer Well, yes the arguments sound very logical and the numbers convincing but remember Colin and Nick would say anything that would support lebron's cases! No objektivity! And there are always numbers to back up any statement! In the end your eyes and winning says way more!
@danieldaw1778
@danieldaw1778 7 жыл бұрын
Heat Lifer They're like politicians. There arguments make sense and use facts, but they twist those facts to support their false claims. It's all well and good that Kevin had more playoff wins then any team in the last 4 years or that he lead his team in every statistical category during the finals last year. Does that mean he should be MVP this year? Absolutely not, it's a regular season award.

I you are buying what he is selling, that you must probably do not have your own perspective of the game. Comparing times of Michael Jordan and stats in that era to James times? That is ridicilious, rules of the game have changed and in this era we have almost few years where there were no dominant big C (Zeke spoke about that before MIami San Antonio three years ago.....dominant for example the way that Embiid was before injury). This guy never get matched against Zeke (Isiah Thomas) or some other experienced basketball player who is analyst because he would get crushed in the debate by my opinion. As a youth basketball coach with long time experience I can tell you that Nick Wright is incredibly selective when it comes to the statistics and sometimes he makes real nonsense. I sounds great to the people who cannot judge things by themselves. For example when it comes to Boston in this video, why did he take only 4 year span? Not to hurt James record, of course. The key of Leonard is his comparison to Jordan - it appears that he might have that mental strenght as MJ did- his numbers in playoffs were raised dramatically and he was go to guy in must score offense situations. And Poppovich knew that from day one (just look at hus 2012 statement). People often forget that when it comes to greatness, San Antonio Spurs key players in last decade were Tim Duncan (even more than decade), Tony Parker and Manu. Two of them will soon be gone, one will be 35 and it looks like San Antonio did not face rebuilding at all. Leonard was youngest Defensive player of the year and Finals MVP and because he is 26, he has many many seasons ahead of him

Daniel Daw but he also proved that Lebron is having the best statistical regular season as well. nobody has put up his stats while shooting as efficient as he has this regular season. those are facts too. I think the issue is you disregarding certain stats to make an argument against Nick because that's the only way to go against someone who covers all their bases

2003 I signed up for the Air Force... I loved Mr. Tony's Podcast before he left and Pardon the Interruption. 2007 I was in Korea A few miles from the North Korean border... Nick Wright always seems to pull these stats on Lebron and it makes you wonder what is everyone else smoking. Lebron is the most complete individual player to ever play the game of basketball. Mr. Wright said after all of Lebron's accomplishments he still put up a stat line that has only been done by... Lebron James. There is no one to compare him to much like Wilt. Wilt didn't win as many championships as maybe he should have based on his ability but you couldn't compare him to anyone. Lets also take a quick look back at the Jordan comparisons. Kobe was emulating Jordan before we even realized he was doing that. Any high flyer who entered the dunk contest was the next Jordan. People like Harold Miner (remeber him) Finely, Carter, A. Hardaway, Sprewell All of these 6'6 ish G/F were positioned to try and take the number 1 spot. Who can we legitimately say is like LeBron? Durant is too skinny, Westbrooke is too emotional and Porzingas isnt emotional enough. Curry, Lowry, and CP3 are too small. Davis and The Greek Freak are excellent players with a crazy package but can't shoulder a franchise like Lebron did in 2007. George has a Kobe game and Kobe didnt win until Shaq so... and we don't have any 7'1 300 ponders coming anytime soon. Rose let us all down when he became the RG3 of basketball need I say more? No one can be called the next Lebron but other stars have doppelgangers. You can argue that Curry and Thompson favor, Dreamond and Cousins favor, Anthony T. and Davis favor. Face it people somehow we have turned Lebron into modern day Charles Barkley. Incredibly gifted player but because of a few bad PR scenarios we make his status lower. IF Lebron stays in Cleveland and won 1 championship we maybe saying he is the best ever helping Cleveland like he eventually did. But since he left and all the theatrics we are condemning Lebron to some monstrosity of an existance when HE IS THE CHOSEN ONE period. #NickWrightisright #Getoverit #CanLebrongetthecrown... and yes Lebron will win the title.

Individual choke. The rest of the Heat played as good as they usually do or better. Warriors pretty much all played under their typical level but no individual dropped as far as Lebron. 17/6/5 is ok for a borderline all star, not one of the best ever. Also his 4th quarters were especially dreadful

3peats It's an ignorant comment because it dismisses all the facts that are presented. I would have a problem with Nick if he never presented facts and just made blanketed statements of love for Lebron's greatness. But he doesn't do that. He presents stats and facts all the time. And if you disagree you have to present facts that support your argument, not some overused word like bronsexual.

Kay Stone kawhi's averaging 34.5 ppg on 72 percent shooting leading his team 2-0 over a tough grizzlies team and lil nicky is dismissing that and drooling over lebron squeeking out 2 wins over a weak indiana team? That sounds like a bronsexual to me......

3peats So you're saying Kawhi averaging 34.5 ppg, shooting 72% percent, and leading his team to a 2-0 start over the Grizz in the 1st RD of the playoffs thus far means he's better than Lebron?? Lil Nicky just spoke career numbers between the two which were all FACTS. He never dismissed Kawhi, said he was the 7th best in the world, and probably even the 2nd closest to Lebron. But the FACT is career wise Nick is completely right...

1. Kawhi is incredibly overhyped and benefited from playing with Tim Duncan, Lamarcus Aldridge, and playing under the greatest coach in the NBA, Coach Pop. He benefits from playing in the best system in NBA history, ala any wide receiver in New England. 2. The Celtics drastically missed the mark here. They drastically overestimated their roster this year and will lose in either the first or second round. And even when LeBron either retires or is no longer the best player in the league (or the East), Giannis and the Bucks will take over. 3. LeBron has been the face of the NBA since BEFORE I've graduated high school and now I'm OUT of college. Nick is on the money in this. To anyone calling him a LeBron lover, he just appreciates greatness and is the antithesis of any and every Skip Bayless in the world.

As for Cowherd, anyone else remember in the first 3 or 4 games of the series against GS he was going on and on about how Lebron is old and shot. He was saying how we are seeing the end of his career. Now he is a deacon in the church of James. Led by Pastor Wright.

My favorite part of Nicks arguments for LBJ are always filled with like 2 or 3 stats that NO one would ever think to look at but because he adds them only LBJ has ever had that stat line before hahahaha. LBJ had 60% from the line and 50% from the field and had 3 3pt attempts 30pts, 7rb and 8ast no one has ever done that before.

Kawhi Leonard is statistically held in check by the Spurs system. I would be willing to bet Kawhi has more "hockey assists" than anybody because of the way San Antonio moves the ball. He also passes up shots that Harden, Westbrook, and Lebron would take because of who he plays for. He still makes big time plays and dominates on defense more than Lebron does at this point in Lebron's career.
@mikenoname15
@mikenoname15 7 жыл бұрын
greenakutabi While what you said is true, you cannot deny that Kawhi's court vision, passing ability and passing IQ is nowhere near that of LeBron's. I think that gets lost in this debate. Offensively, Kawhi can most definitely shoot and score, but he cannot run an offence like LeBron can. Some people believe LeBron could've play point guard when he was younger, and he got tons of Magic comparisons. While Kawhi is an amazing player and he is unselfish, I think it's important to not forget that LeBron has that huge skill over him.
@mikenoname15
@mikenoname15 7 жыл бұрын
Tod Wilkinson That's a bit ridiculous. First of all Kawhi has a 67 win record because hes on the Spurs, and he has the greatest coach in NBA history. Let's get that out of the way. Secondly, to say LeBron just dribbles around is not a very well thought out statement. Cleveland runs plays like any other NBA team, and when these plays are run LeBron has an exceptional ability to find open players and kick it to open shooters like a point guard, even though he's a 6'8 small forward. He makes smart skip passes and he is amazing at driving and kicking, even when running iso. Kawhi does not posses that ability to the level that LeBron does, and its not very close. That's what I'm arguing. And a statement like: LeBron "just dribbles the ball around for 24 seconds" sounds like something that a person says who doesn't posses very much knowledge about the game of basketball.
@ayyotee9908
@ayyotee9908 7 жыл бұрын
