I didn't say anything about Mitchel? If you ask me I like Tatum better. So relaaax. But if you have to be pedantic about it. Sixers are playing against a Celtics team that barely has any players an no superstars. And who are the Jazz playing against? That's right a possible contender for the championship. Besides Simmons is not the go to person for offense in Sixers that goes to Embiid he is the real number one option. Mitchel IS the go to guy and has been that guy in the regular season. Kudos to Jingles though for stepping up.

Think of the teams Brad has coached, the team he has had year to year completely change. And yet this man is still successful year in and year out. I love Pop but RC Bufford even said that they all knew Tim Duncan was the reason they all had jobs.

@JacaboBlanco6 жыл бұрын
I know he is a "rookie" but embid, if you add the games he has played and the minutes he has played, is just as much a "rookie" and he is consistently putting up more impressive numbers. Simmons rarely breaks 20 points. Embid breaks it often, and many times breaks 30, with 10+ rebounds etc.

Everybody gets too caught up in the playmaking and forgets Lebron is an absolute BUCKET. He's always been a BUCKET. The man dropped 20 ppg as a rook then 31-7-7 in his first playoffs. Lebron's playmaking is so mesmerising we forget his scoring prowess. It's foolish to compare anyone to Lebron just because they're tall and a good passer. They need to be a BUCKET on top of all that.

Javale McGOAT Donovan Mitchell is play maker as well, on top of that he has a jump shot and he can hit free throws. If you’re asking who’s going to be the most complete player then obviously it’s Simmons. He’s Lebron 2.0. But as of now, clearly Mitchell is mature. He’s lead the jazz over the thunder. He’s been great under pressure and this is coming from a rookie. Simmons can’t hit free throws or jumpshots and it’s obviously a bigger weakness Bc the Celtics have a 2-0 lead. Sure he’ll fix it later on but as of now it’s the reason why i say Mitchell> Simmons. Later on it’ll change

@theesweetscience25006 жыл бұрын
sid tamanui also had the leagues most difficult schedule in the 1st hlf though. As a super young and non-gelled squad. Which to me is why they learned to go on huge runs vs the teams one needs to beat to get hot towards the playoffs. They did beat boston in those runs (they had other runs than just the 17 gamer). They did beat some playoff teams in that 17 gamer too. Beat a fired up, deep and physical miami team. And did it all in the 1st season theyve ever played on the same floor together too. Lets not forget that even the vets on this team werent there before this season. Super young stars tryna win in the fly as well as learn to play together with new guys like jj etc etc. Also didnt have a bench until late in the season. Of which guys like belli and ersan came in to be that bench. I believe even they have played above expectation. Also all this while the #1 pick in the draft was being groomed off the court just like embiid and simmons were. See this team this time next year and even better than that see this team in TWO years. They get another fairly high 1st rounder this year. Loaded in the other rnds of the draft. Plus one of the higher batches of money to spend in the off-season ... which has become way more of an attractive landing spot for free agents that it was the past 5+ years. Yes this boston series is ugly. But all is well

I don’t think Boston is just gonna let 76ers win the next two games, Stevens is gonna find a way to make Boston win at least one of the road games

Man I knew Ben Simmons is offensively limited but a single point is embarrassing. When I compare him to Magic it's in terms of passing but Magic had SOME scoring ability. Boston is for real and this series is almost over.

The coach job is to know ur team strengths are and use it.Ben and joel should be in the post everytime.He's too big, tall and stronger than his defender.He'll get them in foul trouble or simply just score everytime. Joel had been getting just about every center in foul trouble all center.I dont want to see him bail the defense out shooting 3 pointers or jump shots. Even if he's wide open.Now If u double either one that's why we have shooters.It's not that hard.

Nick isn't saying anything here. We already know that Ben doesn't have a jump shot. He doesn't have any confidence in his shot either.

People arent realizing Boston won their 2 home games, that's what a home court advantage is for. If philly cant take their home games then they're in trouble.

Sag off, go under the screen. That's all it takes to defend Simmons at this point in his career until he develops a jumpshot.

Again, people explain away Philly's failure with them being a young team. Compare the two teams based on who's playing. With the benchers: Celtics' average is 25.2 years. Philly's average is 27,6. Out of the starters, it's an even average age of 26. BOSTON is the young team here. Boston also overhauled their complete roster last summer. Stop using age as an excuse, please!

kyrie irving and hayward was never the known for their defence. That's why they are winning instead of their absence.. DEFENCE WINS GAMES PERIOD. Also some guys stepped up offensively to fill the gap just like wright said..rozier 20% of production just like irving. Not even a boston fan but man they are great..

No Philly fan ever had a problem with TJ. Cris Carter acting like dude is just some bum is really annoying. Only time TJ was ever played in the wrong place was alongside Ben.

Yeah, this is the one reason why I thought Brandon Ingram could actually have a high upside than Ben Simmons coming out of the draft, Simmons cant shoot. If teams start treating Simmons like Rondo, who is still very effective, then Simmons becomes a limited player. Man, if you look at Ingram's second year stats and consider he is 1-2 years younger than Simmons, they aren't far off statistically. If Simmons develops a shot though, he is the best player in the NBA for the next 10-15 years.

Simmons bad attitude to other rookies backfired, remember when he was asked by ESPN's Chris Haynes, I think the GOAT and the KING will not even make such statement during their rookie days. simmons should earn yet a name for himself before making disrespectful statement.
