I'll go with the regular 12 128gb, because: it has a slightly better battery life, it's lighter (this is the greatest advantage in my opinion), it's cheaper, and looks nicer IMO (product red is really nice). Personally, I don't care about the camera difference, I believe the pro's greatest advantage is the RAM.

Spot on, the 12 is so light in comparison. Definitely what sold me aside from being $200 cheaper. The RAM upgrade on the pro made me hesitate but I know I’ll have a smooth iOS experience for the next 4 years or so.

I went with the regular 12 64gb in white color. I barely take pictures and only used about 30 gigs on my XR so the 12 pro’s extra camera and storage aren’t worth the additional $200 for me. Now if the 12 pro/max had a 120hz display I would get that.

I’m currently using iPhone 7plus, which still functions perfectly. But sadly the battery drains so fast (I have changed my battery once already) I really wanna buy a new one but the iPhone 12 is just not attractive enough... like it’s still only with 60hz, without Touch ID, and with the same notch design... I don’t know if I should wait for one more year or just buy the iPhone 12☹️

The problem with technology is that you will regret waiting most of the time. We can go on and on with the cons and and can never feel satisfied with the final product. As someone already commented that the next year iPhones are not expected to look much different, I would suggest you to upgrade if you need to. Also, it is rumored that next year's iPhones will have high refresh rate(though it is not confirmed yet)so you may be tempted by that. I feel that this year's iPhones are intended for people who are coming from 8 or lower. If you aren't interested in high refresh rate, you can upgrade. If you want high refresh rate, I'll suggest you to wait.

I had a 7plus too. It ran out a month ago so I ended up getting the 12. Honestly, I don’t care about any new phones when I buy myself a new one. When I got the 7plus..that was it for me. I used it for 3.5 yrs and didn’t really care about anything new. It’ll be the same thing with the 12. If you’re getting a new phone for the long haul. Just get the 12 and use it as long as you can!

Lidar makes a huge difference in AR. I used AR games without lidar and it is a terrible experience. So that is one reason I would go for the 12 pro.

He was saying at both 128 GB models since that is what he recommends. Also if you buy the 12 series unlocked it cost an extra 30$. So essentially $880 vs $1000without tax for the 128 gb models.
