I agree, having a 15 pro or 16 pro + ipad mini is one of the best combos. You have the snappiness and speed of the pro when you're doing the regular phone stuff during the day, and comfort of the mini when you want to relax, read, watch stuff. You can hold the ipad mini with one hand for a long time without it feeling heavy. It's like a book in your hand.

The 14 Pro is still a great smartphone, if you use the iPad for work, I suggest you stick with the 14 Pro. If not for work, get the 16 Pro Max.

Secondly I want the iPhone 14 a daily driver because the size and my iPhone 16 Pro Max will replace my Sony a7. Tell me what you think. I’m curious to know.

Not an Apple Fan but…hear me out. Whilst there is no excuse for not giving us an oled screen, the reason they have chosen an A17 Pro chip over an M chip for the new I pad could have been the thermal issues. The were issues with the A17 pro chip being used in the 15 Pro and Pro Max last year. As the I pad is a larger body those issues may be eliminated. What if the M chips had issues in the Mini 7 that you wouldn’t get in the Air or Pro iPads as they are larger?

Watching this on my mini 7😊. It was an upgrade from my mini 4. Long term it seemed a better option for me to get that with the Apple Intelligence, as opposed to upgrading my iPhone 13, which I only bought last year.

Thanks for your work on this Nick. I like the Mini 7 for reading and media consumption. The scrolling hurts my eyes at the moment but I'm going to give it a week before I decide to keep or return. I may get used to it. I'm very used to bright LED screens and 120 hz.

The only proper tablet Apple makes. Has a processor that isn't obscenely overpowered for the OS it runs... and it doesn't require a keyboard accessory to use it properly either.

@@hbplayz4428 But the Mini isn't meant for that. I've got an 11" Pro and I don't use a keyboard cover with it and it's very cumbersome to hold it in the hands to use. Uncomfortable too, I have to use the case I do have to prop it up. Thinking of trading it in for the new Mini.

@@marksapollo 11 inches is perfect for my use, mainly reading pdfs and solving question papers in split screen mode. 8 inches is too small for that and I also use mine while on the bed and play games

To be honest, this isn’t iPad Mini 7, it’s just the iPad Mini 6 with new processor. Apple even puts the processor name in the box for distinguishing from the older model, it’s not a new generation of iPad Mini

But thanks for the video.... I really wanted to see the phone next to the mini which gave me exactly what I was wanting to see. Right now I'm trying to decide what I really want to get between the iPad Pro, MacBook Air, or MacBook Pro. I don't want to buy too many devices because it gets crazy expensive. But my eye sight isn't great anymore so I don't want to buy a screen too small either. Initially my thought is to consider the iPad Pro 13 to compensate for my vision issues.
