I remember one of the band members saying that they saw how modern rock music was. How dark and mean it is and just evil sounding. They said they wanted to take rock music back to a point and restart it from there. Their Zeppelin sounding days was the start. Now we get to hear where they believe Rock should’ve gone which is why it feels like Rock n Roll has been revived. This new album does feel nostalgic but not as much as Anthem and From the Fires (especially) was. This feels more new. Like something we haven’t heard before. Which is what I hope and know they will continue to do. I cannot wait for Battle at Garden’s Gate!

So far this is my favourite from the album. It takes what I love from My Way Soon and what I love from Age of Machine and blends them together. Like My Way Soon was a fun and feel good-song. Age of Machine was more of a deep and profound song. Heat Above is a mix of both.

No you're a bit wrong , it sounds very much like bands of the past ,Rush,Boston,ELP come to mind; amongst others , bit of The Troggs Wild thing in there...but no-ones complaining , it's like with Oasis , yes it is sort of Beatles'ish but it's their 'sound' still.

It’s a little bit closer to Zeppelin than the other new tracks, which is a little disappointing because I felt they were doing a good job distinguishing themselves. That being said, it’s one of their best songs, and easily Josh’s best performance on a recorded song.
