It’s on of the following: Frogfish: a ambush predator that camouflages with its surroundings. It has a lure on its head that it uses to lure in prey. Stonefish: unlike the frog fish, it has poisonous spines on its dorsal fin that it will spark up if it feels threatened. Do not step on or approach. Frog or scorpion fish. Stone fish doesn’t really hide in seaweed as far as I’m aware, you’d mostly likely find them in rocky outcrops or rock pools. They camouflage against stones and are a lot larger and uglier.

The fish that blended in was called a "saurgasum fish" They grow so big because they blend in with the seewead so no predators eat them, They are also a predator to any fish that can fit in there mouth. I hope this helps :D

Frogfish are harmless but they are built to blen in to their surroundings they have a thing on top of there head the use as a lure then when a fish swims by they shoot their mouth out at the speed of light and swallow it whole very cool you found one

30 yrs ago I would do the same stuff. I had a sargassum tank with a sargassum fish. In Galveston Texas where we used to find all kinds of crabs shrimp seahorses and anything else weird in the seaweed. I used to love it kind of still do. And yes get a dog

Should get a light for the seaweed. And do water changes from the predator tank so it will feed the sea weed. And the angler is basically living in a tank full of food lol. Cool video man keep up the great content.

Sargassum frog fish. There's probably lots of small ones there. Next time bring a bigger net and shake the seaweed onto the net so everything falls in it. That's what I usually do hehe

Dog👍 l had a Labrador. He's allowed to swim in saltwater and when I was netting and fishing in freshwater he would always bark whenever he saw a gator. I highly recommend that breed for activities you do.

Nick, go to HOME DEPOT or LOWES and pickup 2"x4'x8 sheets of Styrofoam board and insulated that garage door. use aluminum tape to give a professional look when the aluminum side is facing out towards the rails. it's warming up so you want to cheap the heat out of the garage

When you go catching fiddler crabs I have a good technique for you. So when they are in the hole look in it and if you can see it’s claw then what you wanna do is get a stick and Stick it in the sand behind him to scare it out of the hole. This worked for me and I caught a lot of crabs
