they made the onboard voltage regulator work better so it can step down instead of step up, I tried the betfpv f4 1s board at 2s and the voltage regulator fried instantly and you couldn't power the board anymore, but you could power it from USB just fine. That is why I like the happy model motors, the ur65 also has the clips on both sides, the other thing I like about happy model motors is that they curve the magnets making that airgap as small and efficient as possible, the racerstar fire and green models also have the curved magnets, there is a new racerstar motor that has the c-clips on both sides with curved magnets but I didn't see any specs.

So I'm assuming as it has an adjustable camera angle it's not too powerful indoors as you can lower the camera angle so you can fly gently around or up the angle to rip around like you....... unlike the beta 65x and 75x which are too powerful as the camera angle it's fixed at quite a high angle so it's difficult to fly slowly ?

Nick, which do you prefer: this Mobula7 or the Beta75X (or even the Pro, although that is 1S)? The Beta75X is more expensive, but the Mobula7 and Beta75 Pro are pretty much the same. 1S is slightly cheaper and weighs less... I am interested in your thoughts..

Hi there! Does the standard charger (6in1) cut the voltage automatically when the battery is full? Mine seems to keep going past 4.35v...

On mine the flashing switches when done, it can be tricky to tell, not great for sure.

you sure can, but now I would suggest the eachine trashcan. My review isn't up yet, but the frame is more durable on the trashcan.

Do you have to buy the 1S Batts that have "The Smal Lead" on them? Or can you you buy 1S with just the plug, will they work?

how difficult is acro mode, I'm new and never try acro
@NickBurnsFPV6 жыл бұрын
Compared to angle mode it does take a fair bit of skill. The difference is in acro we have to make constant corrections, and not over corrections. If you have a whoop sample acro 2ft off the ground to get a feel for it.

If you clipped the battery leads and soldered on an xt30, then what 2s battery would work well with size and weight in mind?
@NickBurnsFPV6 жыл бұрын
I would continue to stay light, like the hobby king nanotech 300mah 2s packs. We would need to mod the battery tray too.

No it does not. At most with a quad of this size we could add a buzzer.

For a transmitter I already own a spectrum dx6i and a 3dr robotics iris+ (which states fs th9x on the front and with a frsky telemetry modal on the back....which receiver version should I get. Or should i buy a new one like a flysky one so it will have the safety feature in it and if so which remote....thanks in advance.
@NickBurnsFPV6 жыл бұрын
I am not familiar with iris+. I would expect the dx6i to work well with the dsmx versioni of the mobual7.

I just read up and seen that the spektrum controllers/receiver do not have the safety feature in case of loosing transmission like most of the other ones...was just wondering how often this comes in handy.
@NickBurnsFPV6 жыл бұрын
@@masterbaitfishing4947 Yes this is true, but betaflight also has failsafe built in. Test it inside on low throttle then turn off your radio, should stop props within a moment or two.

Good to hear. Looking forward to this little bird as my first fun quad....we use cinematic drones so no fast or fun flying them :) Looking to eventually get the eachine wizzard x220 for a gopro next spring. Learning and practicing on this toy first.

Yes, this is quad only, you will need a radio, goggles and a battery charger if you want to charge fairly quickly. The included battery charger charges really slow.

Ive been waiting for this vid ! C clip up and down are common on 0703 0603 motors, i complained w 1102 which doesnt have this c clip it made the shaft pushed down when you push the props 😅 I always love how u fly so good indoors zigzaging your furnitures and so on, and also I am pretty surprised it could fly near 4m with 250 batt, how long will it go w/ 300mah Betafpvs ? Or even 550 😱 So for conclusion, Mobula75 or Beta75X (i personally love them both in terms of looks, performancewise) ?? And reasons ! I trust your reviews Nick !
@NickBurnsFPV6 жыл бұрын
I would go mobula7, due to longer flight times and adjustable camera. Bonus its less expensive, we can buy several tubes of welder or spare frames and still save money.
@XEXTRiZ6 жыл бұрын
How would you compare this to the 75x with battery life and flight performance? Can you feel a difference between the F3 and F4?

I have been in IT for 22yrs. I am currently an IT manager. We live in the midwest where homes are pretty inexpensive. I suspect most see the valuation of our home far above its actual value.

Yaw washouts comes from the ducts as NotFastEnuf explained it to me one day. If you manage to get the same build without ducts, you wouldn't experience it. It's something to do with air not coming to the propellers and suddenly coming into them which causes yaw wash outa

It really doesn't have much of an impact if any. I would say try it one way then the other and see what you think. It won't be the difference between be able to fly well and not.

@NickBurnsFPV6 жыл бұрын
Some say the house is made of straw. I do find the fpv goes down if I am upstairs or when I am downstairs in the quad cave. Location is important. Open floor plan helps.

Nick, if you were going to mod it to an XT30 with larger gauge wire, what 2S batteries would you recommend? I'd want the weight to still be very low... Thanks!
